I'm in the same boat. So, June 10 is the magic day? If they complete the review by then, we are likely to get a July interview?

I think my consulate is not very busy.

We need to listen to Sachinky she knows her NVC stuff :yes: To qualify for a July interview, we must have a case complete by June 4. Then they schedule the July interviews from June 7th to 11th :D

I sure hope we get that lucky!!!

Yes me too!!! I call the AVR alot hehehe hoping to hear something different :) Then I speak to a real person and find out the AVR knows more :lol: go figure right?

I had CC on May 11 and the operator told me that we could get a date this week.

I looked at the DHL tracking too and saw a package going to Jordan. I haven't talked to an operator since the 11th so I don't know if its ours, but I hope it is!

I also saw a post yesterday or the day before in this thread that an operator told someone else they would still be giving dates the Monday and Tuesday.

I think we still have a chance!

Did an operator tell you that your package had been sent out? I plan to call NVC on Monday.

NVC told me to call back on Monday as they are still assigning interview dates for June. So I still have faith in receiving a June interview. Operator never told me if they have sent my package out, but I guessed it should be mine.

Yeah, I hope the same for everyone who is in the same boat!!

Sachinky, thank you for the information. You also mentioned something about being able to reschedule the interview if the consulate is not too busy. I need to drive cross country at the end of July and I would really love it if my mom could come with me and my friends. It would be a lifetime opportunity. I just hope that she came make it here before we need to leave. I hope she can make it here by the end of July.

After your interview date has been assigned by the NVC, contact your Embassy and see if they can accomodate you at an earlier date. It would be totally dependent on how busy they are.

To qualify for a July interview, you must have a case complete by June 4.

I think you need to add a disclaimer to that.

*except if your dealing with Montreal, then its anyones guess when you will get one* <---- lol

NVC pads their numbers for everything...

When our case was approved @ USCIS, and sent to NVC, we were told to wait 2-4 weeks for NVC to receive it.

They got it in 3 days.

When NVC received it, AVR said to wait 4-6 weeks for it to be processed

We got an RFE 2 weeks later

Once we sent back the checklist, AVR said to wait 6-8 weeks for a response

Our case was complete 2 weeks later

And although, our case was supposed to be complete by last Friday in order to get a June interview date, our case was completed on Monday, and Ian's interview is June 15th.

Everything is padded so you don't freak out while waiting, or for busier times, but unless there's something very unusual, you can expect sooner, rather than later.

Marriage : 2009-06-30

CSC: 155 days

I-130: 2009-10-01

NOA1: 2009-10-15

NOA2: 2010-03-05

I-129F: 2009-10-16

NVC schedules interviews on the second week of the month. Last day was this past Friday. Of course, that doesn't mean it absolutely won't happen, but it's highly unlikely.
