S D - i have the same message! They recieved my information on May 11th please allow 6-8 weeks to review.

I really hope it doesnt take that long. I really am aiming for a July interview. Do you think that's possible?

It doesn't take 6-8 weeks...they're padding their numbers, just in case...

Im not sure. But I sure hope it don't take that long either!!! As long as we get a case complete by June 10th "in my opinion" We should all be able to get a July interview. That would be great for all of us that are waiting impatiently :D Good Luck to everyone waiting!!!

I'm in the same boat. So, June 10 is the magic day? If they complete the review by then, we are likely to get a July interview?

I think my consulate is not very busy.

Thank You!!! That's good to know!!! I wasn't thinking about the exact day. :bonk: I heard they start scheduling interviews around the 13th to somewhere around the 20th of the month. :) I also wanted to say Congratulations to you sachinky!!! and Good Luck to everyone!!!

My DS230 package was received by NVC on May 11 too. I called NVC yesterday (friday) and they told me that my case is also "under review" and give it 2-3 weeks. I'm praying that I don't get hit with a RFE for anything. I hope that I get a case complete soon. Although a June interview would've been perfect, I'm hoping for a July date. It seems NVC is slowing down. This waiting and not knowing is a KILLER!

Aug 02 - Picked up my wife at 8:45 pm (Super happy to be with her again) =)

Just collected our RFE packet from DHL after realizing it hadn't been entered into the system. UPS is coming first thing Monday morning. DHL guy said they don't come on Saturday, to which we replied, well that shouldn't have been a problem since we dropped it to you on FRIDAY!!!!!

The post system in Italy is not as good as the pasta.

Sachinky - congrats on the interview and getting some action at the same time! ...

if the RFE packet is received May 19th is there any hope for a June interview?

(Now that we have the whole my husband is Italian and not Libyan situation cleared up)????

August 2010 - He got the new passport, but I moved to Italy - after trying to maintain overseas marriage, my life in the states was worth leaving

2/24/11 - Long story, now we both live in New Zealand :) (no greencard, hoping to transfer the case down under)

I feel the same! I just keep waiting for an RFE. Not that I want any but that will at least let me know they are reviewing it. I also would like a July interview :D although June would have been nice :yes: I believe we did get put into a slowed down pile. It seems like that anyway

If they receive your package on the 19th, you should have a case complete by June 1. That will put you in line for a July interview. You can put in a request to move it up to an earlier date if your embassy isn't too busy.
