It should not take more than a week. In case it takes more than 15 business days, send an e-mail to nvcresearch@state.gov. Also, don't forget to scan the NOA-2 and attach it to the e-mail.

tHE I 130 FOR my son (9 years old) was approved by USCI o march 15 2010.

But im still waiting because i got a notice from USCI saying that my case was sent to NVC that date.

Now is May 7, one month and a half later and i dont have any news from NVC

I sent and inquiry to nvcresearch@state.gov with a copy of my approved notice 2 days ago, but i dont have any responde.

What does the approval notice say? Does it say that the petition will be forwarded to the NVC? In my case, I missed the fact that the petition said that my mom was eligible to adjust status, the problem being that she was not in the US then. Could there be an error with your application as well?

Are you sure was approval notice, and not 'receipt notice' ?

If approval notice, somethings wonky. Call up USCIS, ask for 'Immigration Specialist', and then inquire about where the case is. If they say they don't have it, then is time to ask to initiate a 'service request' to find the file. Oh well - this is 5 weeks old, as well - maybe you've heard something by now, and are hot n heavy into NVC processing.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

USCIS said they sent the case to NVC on June 6th of this year (that was 13 days ago), where does the "two months later" time period come into play?

As for the case being sent to NVC on June 6th, you should be receiving an NOA2 letter any day now, however you can always call the NVC (603-334-0700) and ask them if they've received it.

Hope this helps!
