My dear VJ friends,

Update from me - the "THE LAST DOCUMENT STANDING".

All set from general inquiry, got a outgoing reference number from police chief office (that was originated by RPO)

As of Friday, the report was not received by RPO (regional passport office), but it was sent to them by police chief office.

As soon as they will receive the report, we will get the "THE LAST DOCUMENT STANDING".

I will get back to you once I have any information or case complete. :innocent:

I just sent our AOS package yesterday. Paid the IV Bill and shows clear. Monday will be DS-230 package :)

January 12 - NOA1 Hard Copy

March 15 - Email I-130 Approved

NVC Journey:

March 20 - Mail NOA2 HardCopy

March 20 - NVC Case Number assigned

March 23 - Got NVC Case Number and gave emails

March 25 - Got AOS Bill / DS-3032

March 27 - Emailed DS-3032

March 27 - Paid AOS Bill

March 31 - AOS Bill shows PAID

March 31 - DS-3032 sent by email accepted

April 07 - Paid IV Bill

April 09 - IV Bill shows PAID

April 09 - Sent AOS package via USPS

April 12 - AOS package Delivered and signed by N. Visa Center

April 13 - Sent DS-230 package via USPS

April 14 - DS-230 package Delivered and signed by N. Visa Center

April 16 - N. Visa Center received all documents

July 07 - Wife got visa in hand!! Thank You Bhagvan / inşallah =)

Aug 02 - Wife's POE!!! (Excited) =)

Aug 02 - Picked up my wife at 8:45 pm (Super happy to be with her again) =)

Gmornin Vjers..Just called AVR and CC as of April 9th..Was dancing all nite long.Sachinky do you think ill make May interview.?I doubt my consulate has heavy load.

Congrads!!! I believe Sachinky said if your CC by the 9th your in for May interview. But let's wait for her to confirm.

If at all possible, avoid sending in your only copy - try consulate or embassy. You need marriage certs for everything! If you got married in another country was the marriage registered in either of the home countries? (i.e. we were married in Mauritius, but registered the wedding with the Italian Consulate, so we can get marriage certificates from Mauritius or Italy).

Hmm, no, we didn't register. Would we have had to register it in the country at the consulate? The country was Bangladesh so would I, the USC, have had to register it at the US Embassy there in Bangladesh or could I possibly do it at the Bangladesh consulate here (in the US?) All I can say is, I wish I knew THEN what I know NOW! :wacko:

I'm so happy for everyone moving through the process! I am still waiting on some police reports. I swear if I knew about this site before I left the country I married in, I would have been DONE with the process by now. Enjoy your weekends!

Unless your consulate is severely backlogged, if your case completed by April 9, you are eligible for next week's scheduling for May interviews.
