NVC April 2010 Edition!

Hey guys. Just peaking in from a kiosk in a hotel. I just logged in to give you guys the great news. CASE COMPLETE. YAY!!!

I called the AVR yesterday and he says that the case has been complete as of April 5th.

I asked him if there were any problems with my AOS or DS-230 and he said that there was a problem with the AOS.

He said that a new up to date one would have to be submitted at the interview because the one that they received was from a year ago.

That's it!! No biggie!!

So he said that I'm just waiting for an interview date from the consulate. My husband and I are so excited.

I'll be actively chatting with you guys on Monday once I'm back to my main office. See you guys.

Morning everyone, I had to log in again today because I thought I may have been dreaming yesterday! Wow, what an unbelievable feeling, good luck everyone still fighting! I feel like a 1,000 pound weight is off of my shoulders.

I just wanted to thank all my girls for all of the support Dec, Jan and Feb. March I didn't come on the website because it was too hard with all of the RFE problems-sorry if I was missing/disappeared : (

Case completed on March 23 as per AVR.

Received appointment letter on March 25, dated the same day.

I'd called the operator once, she gave me the same spiel about "second week of April" blah blah blah.

Sit tight. It's coming.

Did you and hubby get it by email or just you? Was it email or regular mail?

Hello People ... so here is my good news, both packages have been received according to NVC operator (yesterday it was only one and they couldn't/wouldn't tell me which one) so I now don't have to stress about my original docs being lost (again).

Here is my bad news ... my husband's an idiot. I just received my copy of the AOS package he mailed me and the effin I-864 is not filled in correctly. Even my DOB is wrong. Effin useless ... anyone know the requirements for a divorce in Florida?? I'm so over this fvcking $hit.

I am preparing for the interview now... still no case complete, but it's time!

If friends or family members write letters for the interview saying they know about or support the relationship, what personal information do they need to give?

I know I have seen it on here, but can't remember where. I remember name and address, but I think there is more.

And should the letters be notarized?

I like the movie 28 days later.....but i dont like these 28 days later after CC..... it seems to be that the waiting gonna be an eternity....... like a year ago (last monday morning) they toldme to call (in two years) on friday.....
