In times of visa heartache,ever increasing global warming and escalating threat to world peace I find I am asking myself all the important questions in life.....what is better Tea or Coffee.

As an englishman I have to go with a nice cup of tea.

..goes lovely with a nice piece of cake or a variety of dunkable biscuits. I like coffee but in this conflict there is only one winner.

I-130F:

13 Feb. 2006 - sent I-130; 14 Feb. 2006 - I-130 received at Nebraska

28 Feb. 2006 - NOA-1

2 Mar. 2006 - RFE for payment problem; 3 Mar. - corrected & mailed; 6 Mar. - USCIS rec'd payment

12 June 2006 - APPROVED! (NOA-2)

20 June 2006 - case number assigned

3 July 2006 - DS-3032 and AOS Fee bill generated; 6 July - emailed DS-3032 Choice of Agent

13 July 2006 - Received DS-3032 (UK)

14 July 2006 - DS-3032 mailed to NVC

17 July 2006 - DS-3032 and AOS Fee received in mail

19 July 2006 - mailed Fee bill to NVC; recieved at NVC St. Louis facility 20 July

24 July 2006 - Received NVC choice of agent confirmation email

4th-8th Aug 2006 - Recieve IV bill. (non specific date recieved/away vacation)

10th Aug 2006 - NVC recieve IV Bill.

11th Aug 2006 - Recieved I-864 package / mailed back 15th Aug

I-129F:

6 Mar. 2006 - sent I-129F; 8 Mar. 2006 - I-129F received at USCIS

16 Mar. 2006 - NOA1

3 July 2006 - received RFE (IMBRA); 5 July 2006 - mailed RFE response

10 July 2006 - received USCIS email confirming receipt of RFE response

13 July 2006 - received RFE (IMBRA) AGAIN

17 July 2006 - mailed 2nd RFE response; received by USCIS 19 July

27 July 2006 - APPROVED!

7 Aug 2006 - case number assigned at NVC

11 Aug 2006 - Recieved NVC letter confirming case sent to london

23 Aug 2006 - Received Packet 3 / 25 Aug 2006 - Mailed back

04 Sep 2006 - Medical completed.

08 Sep 2006 - Interview date assigned for 2nd October

Can't really go with one or the other. It's early, I'm making coffee right now and I actually know some peeps that drink coffee at night. In this heat wave iced tea is quite refreshing although I usually drink hot tea.

Health aspects, well both may have some beneficial effects but I think tea may have the edge here depending what kind it is. I like a good green or black tea.

Love them both but tea has never made me "need" it like coffee has

Yeah, I have to go with tea....hot tea with milk and sweetner in the winter....iced tea in the summer. Right now I'm sippin' some coffee (NOT Timmy's though) and working on the strategy that will break this addiction to coffee. Yes, I have to come off the coffee! GAH!

Tea for me, coffee for my hubby. I like green tea, black tea, oolong tea... as long as they don't have any flavors added. Oh, and I also looovveee Thai-tea... hmmmm....

espresso and all the varities (latte, cappuccino, etc.. but not starbucks! homemade lol)... There's this tea I've drank once in a Turkish bar, Methinks it was mint tea, anyway it was delicious... it was sweet already, and strong.. other than that, I just drink ma' sweet tea

Single shot, skim latte from our local coffee shack. Lovely :D

2004

April A friend told me that she thought my ideal man lived in Wyoming or Montana.

May 17 Did search on match.com. Found no-one in Wyoming. Only wrote to one person in Montana...his name was John. He replied two hours later.

Jun 26 Flew to Missoula to meet him & a weekend trip turned into a five week visit...

Many trips between US, Canada & Europe.

2005

March 31 During a meeting in Vancouver, John proposed & I said YES!!!

Jun 2 Finally sent off our I-129F & a few days later we received NOA1. I am now officially an alien bride-to-be.

Aug 22 Email notification of NOA2.

Sep 12 Received letter to say application would be forwarded to US Embassy.

Nov 23 Returned packet 3 to Embassy

Nov 30 Medical

2006

Jan 5 Got interview date

Feb 1 Interview. APPROVED!

Feb 2 Visa delivered.

Feb 7 Flight to Seattle.

Feb 8 Finally back home in Missoula, MT. I'm happy, John's happy & the cats are ecstatic - together again!

Apr 22 Wedding Day!

May 6 Sent AOS application

May 7 Honeymoon

May 23 NOA date for AOS, EAD & AP

Jun 12 Biometrics

Jun 15 RFE for AOS mailed

Jun 20 RFE received

Aug 16 RFE reply sent

Aug 31 AP approved!

Sep 5 EAD approved

Sep 8 AP received

Nov 13 Interview letter

Dec 14 Interview. Success!

Dec 26 Got green card!
