GAH! Yah, I agree. It was one of the reasons I was going to include the original IV coversheet with my RFE today, but EFF it. Its there. And someone will have to get our stuff where it needs to go.

So, my husband went on his own to get up to date on his immunizations so we dont get stuck paying for them at his medical exam which could cost a mint. They told him that the Hepatitis B shot for adults is administered in four seperate doses, which is carriecd out in a 4 month span  EH?? I hope this doesnt preclude him from getting his visa. Now another whole set of junk to worry about! He got poked in both arms and both "cheeks" poor thing...

My husband did that - got the vaccines he needed. His did make him feel bad, afer a couple of days. It took him 3 or 4 days to get over it.

Morning VJ~

Sach- package delivered today - signed by my friend J. Desmond :star:

I read it over and over again. Now Im wondering if I should have put unemployed for the few months before he started working at his current job to make it a solid ten years (no gaps) poo. I stress too much. Too late now, they didnt ask for that, so why change something that wasnt asked to be changed right? Hes been at his current job since November 2000. Oh well.

I still STILL havent gotten the RFE Checklist via email. Ive only confirmed what they need by speaking to the operator the other day. I so thought Id have an email already with the official RFE.

How is everyone? Sach, you think they are processing the second one instead? That would put you at right about Friday or so right? It could be sooner. Another thing, Myra had told me that an operator told her that that she should keep calling to check on interview date as it can be set at any time and that completely contradicts with the "setting interviews second week of month" who knows. Maybe the new staff they have on hand are working to just get interviews set in order instead of waiting for the big blocks at a time gig.

I cant wait to get this done, and an interview set, so I can start worrying about the ACTUAL interview. OH NO! I havent even thought about what a wreck Ill be stressing on the particulars of that! HA! Natalia.. you getting your docs out today?

Yeap!! Should be in NVC tomorrow morning!

I still haven't got any rfe email.... wonder if I'll.....

Hopefully, NVC is working hard and can bring down the current 8-11 days for CC or the dreaded RFE to the original 5-7 days it was a few weeks ago.

 I am filling out my husband's DS-230. He answered all the questions, and sent me all the info. His typing is terrible, and his patience is limited. AND - I, too, want to make sure it is done right (not that he couldn't do it if he wanted to!) This way, I am happy, I know it is done the way I want it, he is happy, he didn't have to fill out the forms. I am, er I mean, he will put that he had assistance fillling out the forms.

Yeah, my husband "allows" me to help him :whistle: only because I will proofread it "BEFORE" I mail it out!Might as well just let me do it from the beginning!! :innocent::thumbs:

I sure hope so Sach. There was a time, where timelines were showing them responding to RFE's QUICKLY. I think it was MsSheka's RFE that was just a matter of a couple of days where it was received accepted and inputted and she was done. To wait TWO weeks for an RFE seems ridiculous. Initial review of documents I can understand, but when they KNOW what theyre looking for and once its amended, or supplied. Another whole delay in giving it another review seems absurd to me.

My wife called NVC and was informed the following:

I-864A line 10 is filled incorrectly and need to RESEND the form again. and fill in the current income amount from form W-2 line 1 or 3 !!

Suprisingly, the W-2 form was included in the AOS packet and has the correct amount they asking about!

Can you mail the I-864A BEFORE receiving the checklist?

How long does it take to receive an RFE EMAIL, the operator says 2-4 weeks!

Oh no! Well, simple enuff to correct. They dont look at the info apparently- they want it done for them. That sucks, but get it corrected and send out. Is this your first RFE? If so, print out the AOS coversheet and send in the corrected form now. Dont wait for the email. Just dont forget the coversheet and then a letter explaining it is for an RFE. Use the 31 Rochester Suite 100 address attention DR. and your good.
