I have to stop coming here initially it was a great help but it just depresses me to see so many people who applied months after me getting approved, I still havent heard a thing petition hasnt been touched since 2nd october two weeks after they received it. How can they say they process in order they are received when they so obviously dont. i would be happy with an RFE just to know my file wasnt laying in some two year olds toy box coz thier mommy works from home .lol

I can so understand you but dont give up hope yet. I ended up being approved without an email from them just an approval letter arrived on a Sat 2 days before it hit 5mo. So, best of luck to you!!!!

Hello fellow NVC Zombies...

I have just woken up(yup at 11:40) and listened to the AVR and I got the dreaded RFE as expected.

I am sure it's on the DS-230 since it didnt say missing financial information. And I know for sure it is for the PCC. I'll call Monday and see if they can confirm this. But my wife is still waiting for the local field Police Officer to come down and do the "inquiry" in India (which basically means they are out to make some money). Until then, I am stuck. Looks like it is going to be May for me guys...

I had high hopes they wouldn't ask for it to be submitted at the NVC since the state website says if passport's less than 6 months old, all they need is the Passport Office PCC.

All hopes have been dashed as of now.

I think I'm gonna be addicted to food porn for the next few weeks to get some solace and comfort.

I'll be checking in though, dontcha think Ima leave you people alone, no sirree...

Argh, I'm trying to find out if Rio consulate would make appoiments after the 2 first weeks of the month.

But i can't find a way to check. Everybody seems to apply for K1 in Brazil! There is not enough timeline!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!

On the Mumbai Embassy site there is a link where you can see what appts are scheduled allready & I saw quite a few in the beginning of the month & I saw one for Apr 24th. So maybe the first 2wks does not apply to Mumbai :unsure:
