I am posting this for anyone living in Illinois that may not be aware of this program. If you're living in Illinois with children under 18, please be sure to review the details on the website and see if it can be of some benefit.

What is All Kids?

Governor Blagojevich’s All Kids Program is a complete healthcare program for every child in Illinois. Illinois is the first state in the nation to ensure that every child, regardless of medical conditions or income, has access to healthcare. What does All Kids Cover?

All Kids is complete health insurance for your child. All Kids covers doctor visits, hospital stays, prescription drugs, vision care, dental care and eyeglasses. All Kids covers regular check-ups and immunization shots. All Kids also covers special services like medical equipment, speech therapy and physical therapy for children who need them.

Who can get All Kids?

Children can get All Kids health insurance if:

They live in Illinois.

They are age 18 or younger.

They meet the insurance requirements.

Is there an income limit for All Kids?

Or maybe we'll get some enlightenment on the issue of whether or not preventive and continuous care for people from a young age on actually saves billions in health care costs the long run. I don't think the profiteers of Americas broken healthcare system like this kind of thing very much. After all, healthier people mean less profits. And those guys do, first and foremost, have a responsibility to their shareholders...

Yes, I know, I'm reviving an old thread. It's been over a year since I posted this and I wanted to mention it again in case someone living/moving to Illinois isn't aware of the program in case it is beneficial.

We have Florida KidCare and its almost impossible to get, i was told that bc i can put my kids on my insurance (grrr and it takes more than half my paycheck) then i dont need florida kidcare
