I am not sure what to put here. How do you know if you should do a supplementary sheet with this, or just write two sentences in the blank provided?

I met my fiancé more than two years ago; does it just want me to list all the times I have seen him since then, or does it want the original circumstances under which we met?

Our (shortened) story: We were introduced by his sister in 2003 but did not begin a relationship until 2007. We were not in a relationship for the majority of 2008 (more just friends), and got back together in winter 2009.

Just want to make sure I am accurate and giving them what they need, without getting too wordy. Advice?

I added a supplement page. We just put a small paragraph of how we met, first time I visited, how often we saw each other...

8/2/2021:  Mailed N-400

8/4/2021: N-400 received

8/6/2021:  Biometrics to be reused
3/15/2022:  Interview (successful)

My then fiance (now husband) was the one who wrote the explanation of how we met. He filled one whole separate sheet of short bond paper explaining how we first met online, his visit to my country, and how much our relationship has grown that we have decided to get married.

This is how that page looks:

George Washington (Petitioner)

Form I-129F Supplement

Part B, Question 18

Explanation of Meeting in Person

To Whom It May Concern:

Body

Name and signature of the petitioner

Date

As for the I-129F, he wrote on the space: See attached statement.

Have a speedy K1 Visa process.

I believe there are a few schools of thought on this. Some provide an attachment, some do not. In my case I simply stated the facts in the space provided as I didn't want to overload the information, keeping is simple, yet informative with just the facts.

I think I wrote something to the effect of, "We met in an online game chatroom and quickly became close friends. We decided to take our relationship further after exchanging photos and speaking on Skype. Met in person of 3 times beginning on x date in x place, then x date in x place, etc. spending x amount of days together"

That's not exactly how I wrote it but similar. My approach was to satisfy the question complete and simple, yet resisting the compulsion to write an essay that IMO wasn't necessary. With that said, had I not been able to fit what I waned to say in the box, I would have attached a letter.

I personally think it's up to you how you want to do it as long as it satisfies the person reviewing it.

The key here is meeting face to face within the past two years. You must give those circumstances as meeting within the past two years is a requirement.

It doesn't need to be a timeline of your relationship.

Same, two sentences. How, when and where we met.

It worked fine.

I like the explanation Gary will give you. Right on the money. Unless you took creative writing in college, are bored to death, and have nothing better to do with your time.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

I used only two sentences. They only want the basic details, not your love story. Don't bore them, please.
