Hi, I think this has been answered but I would like to make sure. I'm a Filipina who's about to submit my G-325A to my fiance in the US by tomorrow. I'd like to make sure and he also wants to know how many G-325A should be submitted with

I-129F.

If the right answer is 4 copies, then should we attach 4 photos too? Like 1 photo for each G-325A?

Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank you. :)

One picture for one form.

The form has 4 pages.

The new form has only one page. Frankly, even one page of the old form is fine. One photo either way.

Yes - the new form has 1 page.

However, several calls to USCIS gave conflicting answers (they want 1, they want 4 - even with the new form) - and no one posted a success with just sending in one form.

Thank you very much for the answers. Yeh, the new G-325A has only one page. And I've read in other forums that they only submitted one form. I hope I won't get any problem.

Thanks,

Cathy

Oh well, I guess the best thing to do now is send 4 copies to my fiance & I'll let him call USCIS. In any way,

i don't think there would be a prob in sending them more than what they needed, lol.

Cathy,

I just submitted 4 copies of the G-325A for me (petitioner) and for my fiancee. I did make sure that there were ORIGINAL signatures on all 4 pages - USCIS can always throw away what they don't want/need, I just wanted to make sure I didn't receive a RFE for not providing all the copies.

No matter whether you send 1 or 4, only 1 passport type photograph for each of you is required. Make sure to write the name of the person on the back of the photograph and attach it to the back of each 325-A form.

Definitely make sure the signatures are "original" signatures on ALL copies. We received an RFE because our signatures were not originals, they were photocopies.

I know of several who have petitions approved using a single copy of the new form. Take it to the bank.

Calling USCIS? We don't call it the misinformation line for nothing. I don't understand why long time members here still act like they speak on the phone with somebody having any actual knowledge of how cases are processed. They are simply reading from a script designed to get you off the phone. Actual knowledge is rare enough, you'll never know if any answer comes from knowledge calling that source.

Pushbrk,

Isn't it sad that the mentality of the "help-line" folks at USCIS (a FEDERALLY supported branch of the US Government) is to get off the phone as quickly as possible, without regard to accuracy of the answers they provide?

Another aspect of the visa process that I'll never understand is that the Embassy requirements for documentation varies greatly from one Consulate to another. What is acceptable to one CO is not to another, paperwork that will generate a denial at one Embassy is sufficient for approval in another.

Simply amazing. Thus the reason I submitted 4 copies of the G-325A for each of us with ORIGINAL signatures in blue ink. Better to send 4 copies and have them toss the extra 3 than to send one and receive an RFE or a denial notification for improper paperwork.

You make valid points but real information is available from reliable sources. Neither Vermont or California or any Consulate has been reported to request additional copies of a G325a form, in the years I've been around. They've had photocopiers for many years.

Specific requirements of Consulates are also available to those wishing to do only a small amount of research.

\

Photocopiers not-withstanding, ORIGINAL signatures are required - are the USCIS copiers able to reproduce original signatures that are acceptable to them?

I'm willing to put in more than a small amount of research regarding the requirements of Consulates but after a LARGE amount of online research as to the particulars of the Costa Rican Consulate I've been unable to ascertain their requirements (I posted questions on this forum that have been unanswered as of now), so FINALLY I decided to send the Consulate an email asking them my questions directly. I'm curious as to the response I'll receive (if any).

As a recent person going through the process via CSC who has recently received my NOA2 in the last 3 weeks... (and without RFE's)... take this to the bank:

The form is G-325A from is 1 page (front and back).

You need to send:

1 G-325A with photo of the USC and

1 G-325A with photo of the beneficiary.

Yes. I copy of the G-325A as the new version is only one page and the previous was four.

ALSO, the previous form stated you needed to submit all four copies, yet the new form had this information removed. I also double and triple checked all instructions and there is no reference to four copies anymore so one copy it is :) Plus I honestly don't think you'll get an RFE for only including one copy, they can photocopy it or on the interview instructions ask me to bring more copies. An RFE is "request for further EVIDENCE" and you've already submitted one copy as EVIDENCE so yeah.. that's what i think anyway
