Hello.

My boyfriend is in US army now and he's stationed in my country. And it is obvious that we meet frequently.

He doesnt use passport when he deployed here. So for the proof that we met within 2 years will be fine with military order that he sent here like a year ago and pictures of us? and I have some train tickets and movie tickers when we traveled in this country. would it be helpful? how many pictures will be fine? I have like 10 pictures at the moment.

I would say that his PAID travel voucher would be good proof. Just having the orders really doesnt prove anything because there are times that he could get orders, but never go. Just have him get with his finance office and print him up a copy of the travel voucher. Also, if he had to deploy he would still get a boarding pass to the AMC flight and possibly use his government charge card for things there. Pictures of you two together is good also. you will only need a few picturea at this point for filing the K-1...so the 10 you have will be fine.

Where are you from?

Finance office, not fiance office. He gets it at the finance office.

6 pictures is good enough for the I-129F, I think a military order should be ok, I don't think there will be any problem, he's a military guy and that's like an honorable thing, they should all have great respect for him, or at least they should, I don't think people really have a great respect for military people like they used to many decades ago.

I'm thankful for all the people that join the military, they deserve more than what they get, so he definitely deserves you.

Yes, members of the military are honored, however I would not hinge an application on it. I would take a few more photos, the movie tickets, hotel receipts, restaurant receipts(with maybe a photo taken there) are also good proof. For the initial applicaiton the 6-10 photos with the statement from the financial office should be OK, but I would collect some additional proof to be on the safe side.

If hes stationed at a base with a finance office like Youngsan or Humphreys that have a finance office he can go to in person, if not like a smaller base he can go to MYPAY and download a copy off the mypay website under travel vouchers

I'm not sure how long you two have been together, but can't you get married there and do the DCF? You get a CR-1 visa and since he is already in the country, pretty much no separation required and you get done faster.

next time you see him , take photos of the two of you together, holding today's NEWSPAPER , clearly showing the date.

practice a bit with this - just a headshot, yer two heads together, with the newspaper under yer chin, showing the date.

Take photos like this , each time you are together. Frame the shot so it's just yer two heads, and the newspaper. He can probably do this with one hand holding the camera out.

Also, suggest you get some photos of the two of you together WITH YOUR parents and other relatives.

Also, when you go out to eat, GET THE RECEIPT !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

this maybe my mistake but would they not qualify for direct application to counslate in south koria? and if so you and he would just show up at interview.

and does not matter if over year ago you meet. your seeing him all the time now. the rule is just 1 time in 2 years. you did that last week or month when u seen him with train ticket.

you should be more than good. train tickets to him is as good as he buying tickets to you.

fill in your profile and start your timeline it makes it easy to have right people help you with the proper info

cheers and great luck!!! and thank your future hubby form all of us at VJ for serving us in the military!!!

This is exactly what I did ....Hold up a newspaper under our chins together in the photo and sent in a COLOR photo copy of the front page so they can clearly see the date..This was for my I-129F petition..There is no better proof than that...Along with your boarding passes and passport stamp copys.
