It looks like your consulate just barely recieved your package 3.

You're going to have to be patient and wait longer. I'm sure you'll hear something soon.

my patience is as strong as my disappointment. i know what i have to be, i don't know why I have to be it!

c'mon America! i love you but you keep people apart for too long! We need to do better as a nation. Much better.

this is one journey I wish I could have been without. the one journey i have to take. the hardest road is always the needless one. patience is not a virtue, it is a necessity, engrained in us all. patience is what is left after everything else has been brutally, savagely, taken.

if i must be patient it is not for patience's sake, but for my sweetheart. who on this journey is patient!? we are not patient we are eager, restless, and stressed! patience I would kill were it not immortal, strong, everlasting, ruinous to kill.

it is the patience that is trying my patience!

i am a rock, a mountain, patience must wait for me. i will wait for her.

i will wait eagerly, not patiently!

Glad you got it all figured out. Considering the country involved, you should have known your timeline would take longer. Just a fact.

Your entire case has not been quite nine months yet. It looks like the longest part was at USCIS...did you have an AP there? It appears that you flew through the NVC (6 days) and the consulate has just received your packet.

I know that it is a long and hard process, but relatively speaking your case appears to be pretty normal so far.

Hopefully you will get your interview soon! Look through the immigration timelines and check to see how long interviews are typically taking from case complete. You will get a better idea of what amount of time you are looking at.

Looking at others timelines, it has been taking about 2 1/2 to 3 months to get an interview in Israel after the consulate receives the case.

So, the good news is...if there is no AP, then your case is finished in about a year from start to finish.

Good luck and I hope the two of you do not have endure AP.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

What the heck does this mean??? Don't we all deserve it?? And who decides who does and who doesn't? yeeesh....

Do you see how big the sea is?

Do you see how big the sea is? My love for you is as big as the sea.

Do you see how far the sky is? My love for you is as far as the sky.

As big as the sea and as far as the sky I love you,

I waited for you, I called upon you, I drew you on the promenades,

You sorrow of my life, you tears of the flowers, you season of the birds,

How vast the forest is, my heart is as vast as the forest.

You who are drawn on my door, and drawn in my heart,

I waited for you a year, and throughout the year I would ask the walnut trees,

and I would see you in the sunny days, coming from the sunny days, and lost in the almond leaves,

How small is a tear, and I am just a tear in your way,

I want to vow a candle so that you would let me love you.

If you fall in love with someone from another country, you should expect to wait.

I've been with my fiance for a year and a half this month.

Thats a long time and we aren't even close to being together yet.

I know its hard to wait but realize that they are taking so long so they don't just accept anyone.

I would rather wait a bit and know I'm going into a country that actually cares about who comes across the boarder and what their intentions are, than a country that will just let anyone in.

Just my opinion.

alejandrorit: Dude, sometimes you just have to rant. I feel like that's mostly what this is, right? And if that's the case, it's a-okay. This is a long and frustrating process, and to see other people who applied at the same time as you having their interviews and getting to be with their beloveds again must be a punch in the gut every time. For what it's worth, I say: rant your heart out, if it helps. Yell into a pillow, write a rant on VJ, do what it takes to stay sane during this arduous wait. It's no fun to have your happiness at the whim of some faceless government officials you'll never meet. I feel that. I hope things pick up and you are reunited with your love soon.

I don't think this is a "who's journey sucks the most" contest, is it? It's hard to be away from the person you love for a week or for years. We're all in this together, team.

Best wishes for a smooth and quick journey from here on in!

Good luck.

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast
