Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well :) Took the hubby to the social security office today to get his social security card... i would recommend that anyone who's immigrating, if you want to have your middle name(s) on your SS card, make sure to include them when you write your name on your I-94. There are only places for "first" and "last" names, and the manager at the social security office said that they couldn't include A's middle name (or even initial) because it wasn't anywhere on his I-94. (even his full name is on his visa, EAD, passport, etc.) Anyway, it was all relatively painless. After that, I went to the dentist, which was not so painless

Random question: In Egypt, we used to get this fresh white bread, they were about the same length as breadsticks, only fatter. They were also kind of sweet (like every other freakin' bread in Egypt). Ahmed has been missing that bread a LOT, and we can't find anything here that is similar. Does anyone know a recipe that might be similar?

Happy Monday! It is almost over!

Amysaid-you had a busy day today!

I took the kids to see Avatar today. LONG movie- and they charge an extra $2.50 for the 3-D effect. argh. It was pretty good though.

Brrrrr! I need me something hot! (but he is in Syria, guess I will have to settle for some hot tea..darn!)

Baj

ah. the longing....
