The MS Society, and a Social Worker from a residential placement is coming to my apartment Thursday. I will keep you all posted on the outcome. Either way she has to be gone out of my home no later then next week.

The sad part is that she will sit and urinate in her depends without trying to make it to the toliet

It's a wonder she doesn't have any decubiti as a result of this. She needs a foley catheter put in place.

I'm wondering if you could take her to the ER and have them call Adult Protective Services. I'm sure you are in one tough situation, but know you are doing what no one would or will do for her. You are a sweetheart! Good luck!

Ms. L is in complete denial about her situation eventhough the hand writting is on the wall. I so desperately want to get her to the Doctors and get her examined. There is really good Specialist here in Philadelphia, PA. Inglis house, is sending a RN and Social Worker out here on Thursday, and I'm praying that they commit her to some facility. I know that she takes Detrol LA 4mg and Citalopram 20mg. One is to control her blatter and the other is for her mood swings. She completely stopped taking her Rebif. Can you believe that her Doctor in Michigan gave her a 90 day supply of each medicine so that she would be able to stay in Morocco?

Thank you all for your words of encouragements because it's the only thing that is keeping me sane.

I check to see if we had shelters in my area to accomidate her and I was told no by the MS Society. The MS Society said the soonest they can get someone out to my home is next week. Next week seems like a lifetime away. I called her mother this afternoon, and told her that I was going to be sending her home on the next flight I could book her on. Her mother begged me to send her anywhere but Michigan. It's so unreal, and I can't believe I allowed myself to get into this situation.

Any luck on contacting the sherrif's office, talking to the special mental health officer?

Ok the little bitty snow that we had here in Philadelphia caused the people to cancel. Give me a break they just didn't want to do any paperwork on New Years Eve. They rescheduled for Monday at 1:30pm.

I am suppose to hear from the social worker tomorrow, and if I don't I will be calling 911 and have her sent to the hospital, because now she can't move her legs or anything. She urinated through her clothes this morning, it's all I can take, and I can take. So when she get's up tomorrow talking about "I can't move nothing, my family will not be carrying her 5ft tall 278lbs to the bath tub because their backs are killing them. Please keep me in prayer.

What an awful situation for everyone concerned. I hope you finally get it resolved tomorrow. Seems if her condition has deteriorated such that she can no longer move her legs at all, a medical assessment is the next logical step. You simply don't have the resources to care for her in your home, especially now, and it's placing undue stress on your family. You're in my thoughts.

01/10/2008........Two-year green card in hand.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

I had to call the ambulance to take her to the hospital. She had a bowel movement on herself, and she can't lose her legs at all. I will be going to the hospital tomorrow. This should get her all the help that she needs. Unfortantly Ms. L was more concerned with getting the numerous phone numbers of the men in Morocco that she will be calling on her cell phone while in the hospital. Her mind is completely gone from reality, and I don't believe she can return or else she may try to take her life. I will push for them to give her the best services that she needs.

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Well, bless ya for what you tried to do... the best thing is if she gets the help she needs (mentally and physically)... Sucks you got stuck with such a situation when you were just trying to help out...
