Hi everybody,

sorry i am late for posting my experience. yes they passed my dad's AOS and stamp on his pasport.but for my mom she got rejected from fingerprint so office told me that go and get the police celerance certificate and then he will pass my mom's AOS.

but i am sure my mom will pass too. officer was very nice.

Our interview was at 8:00AM but we reached at 7:10 and in 10 min. one lady told us to go upstairs. they we seated upstairs.after sometime one office called my dad's name but at the same time my dad went to use restroom so i tell office that sorry my dad just went to use restroom so he says oh ok no problem i wil come again so after 10 mins he came and we means me,my mom and my dad went inside.

after sworn we seat there.

he start asking question first he asked me 1) why your dad don't have B.C.? ---i tell him becuase my dad born in village my grand father never register his birth. he was like ok. then he told me he cannot make decision for my mom because she has finger print prob. and he explaind me how to get good conduct certificate. and then told me that he is sure to process my dad's case.

he start asking question to my dad. his name, his father's name you know all I-485 form question. he verfied all the answer from that form I-485. n told me about my office letter for I-864 i offer him bank letter if he wants , he said ok give that too.

after that he start with my mom same thing like my dad all I-485 questions and then he told me that he is approving my dad's case and he need to wait for police celerance certificate for my mom. and also specify me that you can come alone to drop that certificate he don't need my mom again.

then he said congratulations and merry christmas. and came to leave us at door.

hmmm very nice interview must say very nice officer.

Congrats

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

What City and state was it in?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
