Well, the CO in HCMC threw my co-sponsor paperwork asside saying they no longer allow them. But based on my income from 2002-2004 he said good enough. Never did I think my income would be enough because in 2005 I basically made zilch. But because the IRS sent me a letter saying my records would not be available until AFTER the interview (I incuded the letter and the stamped envelope it arrived in for my fiance's interview) the CO did not care about 2005.

We got lucky. VERY lucky. :dance:

Thanks to all the VJ members here who gave me advice, told me to calm down and not worry, etc because my fiance is on that airplane right now and will arrive at JFK just before noon on Wednesday. I simply am in shock that the process was so much quicker than expected. I am way ahead of people who filed around the same time as Anh and I and I somehow avoided that IMBRA chaos, so praise be to God for that.

I just hope the customs officials do not try and take her DVD's and CD's. I've explained to Anh that the law is on her side, that she is allowed personal copies and should be polite, but stick stand her ground of the agent gives her problems.

Received from NVC 5/4/06 Approval Notice. Petition was being forward to the Embassy in Manila :-)

Fiancee Received Packet 3 and Packet 4 together. She is to fill out Packet 3 and bring with her to the Visa Interview. Medical Exam scheduled for (8/30/06) and Interview Date (9/6/06) We are on our way.

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
