What you failed to mention is that there are beaucoup wrecks daily on Houston freeways even in pristine weather.

I drove around town for several hours on Friday afternoon in the heavy snowfall taking my stepdaughter on her errands. The snowfall was heavy, but the temperature was above freezing and there was never any ice forming on the roads while it was snowing. After the sun set and the snow stopped, the temps got below freezing and all that melted snow turned to ice on the overpasses. That is when the real fun started. And I was safely at home by that time. ;)

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

I fear another terrible, bitterly cold winter in Florida where the temperatures may dip down close to what summer was like back home.. well apart from the expected week or two of "cold" weather we apparently get.
