Any word from Precious and Abiding???

We were approved! Sorry I didn't post to this thread earlier. I'm just now seeing it. I've been posting in another. Wish I would have seen this sooner.

Our interview was at 12pm. We arrived at 10am. Formed a line at 11pm and everyone entered at the same time. They would not let me go in with my wife so I waited outside. My wife was number 14 out of 40 or so. At 2:30 she came out approved! She told me the officer only asked a few questions about our relationship, how and when we met, when we married, nothing very specific. He never asked for any evidence. She said the actual interview only lasted a few minutes the rest of the time was taking fingerprints and waiting. We are now waiting for the courier service to deliver her passport with the travel visa affixed. I bought our plane tickets on faith for next Wednesday. POE- Houston.

Blessing and peace to all that have upcoming interviews.

It was quick and painless. The Filipino who pre-screened me asked more questions than the CO. The final interview was fun and very light convo. He was very nice and made me feel at ease. He even talked to me in Tagalog. He was impressed because I had the NBI with my mispelled name. Questions asked were:

-Husband's name

-When and how did we meet?

-His occupation and degree

-When he saw my Dubai PCC, he asked what did I do and how long did I stay there?

-How many people attended our wedding?

**then commented on our honeymoon pics in Baguio with butterflies at Butterfly Sanctuary, Camp John Hay Park.

Then he typed something on his PC and said the magical words "Your visa is approved".

Thanks to all who have helped and answered my questions during the process especially at NVC. It was a long, torture, stressful, depressing and made me eat a lot journey. Finally, it has come to an end. Well, not really the end because I still have yet to receive my visa. To those who will have their interview, it's not as scary as many people thought. As long as you're "real" and you have all the documents to prove, everything will be fine. Goodluck to all and Congrats to those who were already approved.

Congrats! Did you have to bring the PCC because it wasn't sent to NVC? I'm just trying to figure out what to bring-I leave Friday morning to see my hubby, and our interview is on Tuesday! My appt. letter reflects that we need to bring nothing. Any suggestions? (I front-loaded the USCIS app with everything!)

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

No, it was sent to NVC. What I meant with "when he saw" was when he was going through my documents. I didn't bring anything also except for appointment letter and the certificate that I've been married only once (to my hubby). Goodluck Finn.
