I just wanted to write this post to tell all of us who are going through this journey together to be strong, and patient. I know this is so hard for many of us but i am so hopeful, and sure that we will all make it through this long hard process. Sometimes it helps just to get a pat on the back. We and our future husbands, and wives, deserve a BIG Congrats for all that we have to endure through these hard times. I have a poem i would like to write for everyone to read i hope that it brings encouragement to everyone.

DON"T QUITE

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all uphill. When the funds are low, and the debts are high, And you want to smile , but you have to sigh. When care is pressing you down a bit. Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is strange with its twists and turns. As everyone of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns out: When you might have won had you stuck it out: Don't give up though the pace seems slow. You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out. The silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you can never tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight with you're hardest hit. It's when things seem the worst that you must NOT QUIT.

AJ1 Good luck to all of us!!!

Thanks! you put a good vibe out there with this post.. I appreciate it.. we tend to focus on the negatives too much on here I thing, and its hard not to... I'll tell you what I complain to my fiance every night about this and that .. and what not .. and ya know what she tells me .. "Go get Shadow" (our dog) and she then wants me and him to dance for her infront of the webcam .. a lil' crazy one I got .. but it cheers her up .. and its hard to be upset when you see a dog dancing around happy. :)

You must have read my mind, so sad today and lonley. But you are right we will do it, eventualy. Just would love it to hurry up already. A WATCHED POT NEVER BOILS right? So I guess i should stop obsessing over it already. No point making ourselves crazy over something we can't control. Hugs.

Thank You!!! for that poem. We can use encouragement and not discouragement. This process is very very very trying for all of us. I DO believe that we will all make it and stay with that person. We want to feel happiness before our numbers get punched in. WHY go through all this to just give it up? hahahahahaha.

And think ALL the things that people do in the name of LOVE!!! -- this is just another of them.

Amen. :D

Thank you for such encouraging words. Just now i'm feeling a little depressed thinking that our journey has just started, we got NOA1 on tuesday through TSC, and now we have no idea to where we will be transfered... i saw someone's timeline, they were through TSC back in the old days when there was no IMBRA and even so, it took them over 5 months to get NOA2, so now i'm thinking, well, maybe in 9 months from now i will get to be my baby's mrs, so, damn, i've made up my mind and i will simply pretend that we havent filed for K1 already, i'm too damn anxious, and if i want to have peace of mind i should just focus in meeting my guy again within the next two months, hold him, kiss him a lot so that i keep lots of hugs and kisses in stock for when i need them when i'm lonely again -like now- cuz i can tell this will be a long long ride... it makes me feel weak, honestly, but hey, theres no other way now, just gotta be patient and hang in there like you said. Sorry i got all carried away, i guess your post touched me just when i'm missing my hunny more than usual...

Very good!!! Great poem.

We have to be strong, we live a hard time waiting, waiting.

But I am sure and think positive we all are going to be with our loved one soon.

I trust in God. :luv::star:

Thanks for reminding me of this nice poem. I used to recite this a lot when i was in gradeschool. I just quit the other day, and yet here I am, still fighting.

Sometimes, you just need to cry it out and take a break. It's good to take long naps and exercise, too. And as long as you know your other half is patiently waiting for you, you have all the reasons not to give up. (L)

Jenny

Hang in there Jenny!!!! You are not the only one like this ... hehehehehe

Look at my story, I have done the Journey before only to FAIL at the finish line. She was denied because she ADMITTED to have used drugs to the ConsOfficer.

This put me in a emotional tailspin. I was depressed and heartbroken for quite some time. :crying:

Yes - I have not been to this forum in quite some time. Now, I am finding out that there is the "IMBRA" and petitioner's police background and more RFEs than before.

But -- I fell, dusted myself off and now I am ready to do it all over again. All in the name of love.

I am not sure that this is to cheer up but to give you some encouragement as I come back to these forums. I come back to re-educate myself on the newest dealings and to get encouragement as well as give it to fellow members here.

I hope I brought some cheer to your life.

Angel.
