There's so many heated political threads I figured I'd start a thread about something everyone loves - food.

What's everyone's favorite foods? From right here in the US of A to even your SO's country. Or even from places you've visited. Let's give each other food ideas and get hungry for lunch :)

I already ate lunch...but my favorite Indian food is Chicken Makhani. In the US, since Thanksgiving is coming I'd have to say right now I am really looking forward to turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce! I don't have many favorite "American" foods, though it's hard to even say what American food is. I love Greek salad and chicken souvlaki(chicken in pita). Oh and yellow Thai curry, yummm. I like mostly ethnic food.

From Peru, my favorite food is lomo saltado...

stir-fry strips of beef, onion & tomato with all kinds of yummy seasoning, paired with white rice & french fries all covered in the steak juice. YUM

From the USA I would have to say, homemade meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes, creamed corn and biscuits the way my grandma makes it

[no photo available, lol]

I like -

curry laksa

fish head curry

steamboat/hotpot

and

steamed dumplings.

I can't eat most of it currently because of the diet, but hei.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

My absolute favorite food is Thai food.

I like many different things but,

#1 Gang Garee (yellow potato curry)

#2 Gang Keaw Warn (green curry)

#3 Pud Thai Curry (noodles with yellow curry sauce)

I am generally a "medium spice" kind of guy, but some places i can take the hot.

Filipino

I like Beef Tapa, Escabeche, all the sea food

Mexican food can't go wrong either.

I watched a guy prepare Turducken last night on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It looked really good. If I was feeling ambitious, I'd try to make it for this Thanksgiving.

you can buy one already made. you just have to pop it in the oven :P

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
