Hey did anyone get any updates either today or the weekend? Had the interview on Jan 14, got the verbal "Approved" but still nothing online.

We are in the same boat. We also had our AOS interview the 14th and have had no e-mails, touches, nothing. I'm trying to stay positive though! :star:

Hi, I got an interview today, and APPROVED!!

The interview was painless and very easy. It took less than 10 minutes and only few questions.

I'm so happy!!

Thank you Visajourney and everybody for your supports.

Congrats!!!

Hi all!

Our IL's (K1and K2) arrived today. We still are unable to see our case status on the web... go figure.

Our date is 23 Feb 2010 for both Interviews.

I have a question about the letters. BOTH letters have two short horizontal bars "_____" across the left-hand vertical line "|" of the box containing the text. They 'seem' to point to bringing my (US) birth cert and all the annulment and divorce documents. All that original paperwork was sent in the original 129F and ALL were original documents. Do I have to re-provide these original documents again?

Congrats on receiving your IL, finally!! You should bring all original documents that you submitted with your AOS anyway. The checklist on our IL stated to bring originals and copies of everything submitted with the packages. That way if for whatever reason they don't have your paperwork in front of them you can still provide them with a copy for their records & the original to see.

We are in the same boat. No e-mails, touches, nothing. I'm trying to stay positive though! :star:

I'm not sure but it can't be that particular date since we all were at different offices so it would be odd if that was related somehow. Hopefully we all hear something this week

Was your interview for AOS b/c your profile says you filed for Naturalization? Just wondering

If they've lost some or all of your file that might explain the weirdness regarding your application and the lateness of your ILs and interviews.

If I were you I'd bring originals of every last scrap of paper you've ever sent to USCIS or the consulate!

:dance::dance::dance:

CONGRATULATIONS!, though, on FINALLY hearing something! :) :)

Congratulations Mike on finally receiving your interview letter. Like Rebecca says, best to bring in all the documents. They probably won't ask, but just in case. We took copies/originals of everything but they didn't ask for anything, even thought the letter says to bring it all in.

Congratulations Kate on receiving the GC in the mail today. We also received the card today. You're right, the envelope is nondescript, but I knew what it was since it came from Lee's Summit.

Rebecca, that's pretty funny about facebooking your IO.
