I think Jenny Jones was the one who got into hot water over an edition of her show where people were exposed to their secret admirers.

Someone like Justashooter went on there and got himself all excited that he'd be presented with some nubile young lady, and it turned out instead to be a male neighbour. Having his masculinity thus threatened - he promptly shot the guy to death.

Right I remember J. Jones having to fend off a civil suit b/c a guest murdered another guest after a gay crush was revealed. :(

I think I only saw one episode, and thats where a brother and a sister wanted to get married on the show. I'm not sure if that was staged or not.

no one would be interested.

They film the Maury show up the road from where I work. Lot of strange characters go to those tapings.

that show is so trashy but i might check that out too, they also film in stamford, ct.

why??? aren't we putting on enough of a psycho dysfunctional show for you??????? I am heart broken now :cry:

it's been a dream of mine to go, but i wanted to go back in the day when the violence was really hardcore and physical on the tv...i.e. chairs flying etc...just to say i went...i've been to ricki lake before it went off air and that show sucked...but it was free tickets from uni...i don't live that from where they tape, and i'm sadly jobless right now, so why not...plus, i tend to watch jerry in the mornings as it is...will post again about it. i need to email them back and set a time and date.

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...
