September 30 is a significant milestone for the federal government, as it's the end of their fiscal year. To many of us who've been following VSC processing times for a while, it looks very much like they're cherry-picking cases to improve their average processing times heading into that date. As a result, a significant number of March and April filers have been "left behind" while they've pushed hard into May and June.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

VSC started "speeding up" two months ago. they just approved a June 29 filer. Thats 79 days between NOA1 & NOA2.

VSC is not speeding up at all, it only perseptual. they move on month by month and approve a percentage of that month. They leave the others behind. This will improve their perceived quota. VSC lagged behind beause they had more HB1 visas. They will be directed to clean up the k1's left behind when the phiscal year is over. Just my conception, nothing more and nothing less, God bless.

I must disagree with your post.

Check this link and look at the number of petitions being approved by week. You will clearly see that the volume of petitions approved in the past two months, far exceeds the volume in months prior and the processing time has shrunk a great deal in the past two months as a result. Regardless of the date of filing the petitions are being processesed at a higher rate.

Im glad for the people who were blessed by this face lift VSC is doing, so they can look nice in front of the authorities, am really happy because you are going to be reunited with your loved ones very soon. It really stinks though to all of us which are being left behind for the same reason and were supposed to be treated like human beings, not statistics....

Go March Family!!! lets hope this is soon over, we so deserve, in justice our NOA2s

In all honesty, there is absolutely no way to tell what center is doing what at what time. You certainly can't use VJ as a guide. We represent a very small fraction of the actual applications that are received. For all we know things may be slowing down, but appear to be speeding up because numerous people on VJ are getting approved. One thing I know for a fact is that certain applications get approved faster than others because it helps some employees meet a quota. I really don't believe when your application arrives guarantees when it will be approved. So whether you're a May filer, June filer or whatever month you can just hope that it gets approved in their allotted time frame.
