Animal rights group has video taped egg hatcheries grinding up live baby male chickens. Actually the hatcheries admit it, says it is industry standard:

Will this effect your egg consumption? They say that even the organic and free range eggs are produced from chickens bought from these same hatcheries. What do you think they should do with the male chicks? Is there a kind way to deal with this?

 turtle eggs?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Well that's sad and cruel and there must be some farm or something that would take them...but no, it won't affect my egg consumption. I guess I'm evil. Then again, I don't live in the states so maybe it's different or potentially worse where I do live in Brazil.

What is ironic is the very people from the animal rights group eat eggs, but, some of them are opposed to stem cell research.

I am against the animal activists. If animal have rights, then, the predatory animals should also believe in the rights of their prey. Humans are a predatory species. We have been hunting since the dawn of Arthropethecines (excuse my spelling).

If chicks didn't look cute with fluffy feathers, noone would care less anyway. Imagine there were chucking dung beetles in there... would anyone video it and say how cruel it was? I doubt it VERY much!!

I'd say being dropped into a massive grinder 10 times your size would be a pretty instant way to go anyway, so doubt they'd suffer much (if at all)
