PaciencayFe: I am so excited my heart is racing, literally! Lol!

I'm not ready but if I was to leave now, I'd go in my birthday suit (naked) Lol

Goodluck with the medical!

Jenn: Oh really? When I'm around my parents with him, we hold hands, giggle, poke each other... And when night falls, I tell my dad "it's bed time" and he smiles and say he knows what that means. So wait, where do you sleep???

There aren't much men though.

Ha to the potty talk & strong legs..

Well, I do hope time goes in your favor.

On the flight back, the flight attendant will ask you "what would you like" and you'll say "a ice pak is perfect!"

Kayla:correction, there's a difference between wife & wifey. Wife is when you're actually married. Wifey is when he tells you you're his wife, but you have no ring or wedding plans!

Get that interview!

I slept in the room with his sisters. It may seem a little strange with the not showing affection, but we are not married yet.. and it's not only part of Turkish culture, we also have the Muslim religion aspect of this. It would not be appropriate for us to share a room or anything else.. especially in his parents house.. of course, I do not stay there the ENTIRE trip :) There are a few days at the start/end of the trip when we are in a hotel :):)

Oh ok. I don't know why I forgot that you were muslim!

I can understand this.. My fiance's parents and my mom believe if you are not married then it's not appropriate to share a room. (though I'm hoping she's going to make an exception when we go there for the holidays lol)

But I will always respect someones culture, religion, beliefs, as best as I can.

:) I don't think it was ever really mentioned. Turkey is a mostly Muslim country, but more laid back than many of the Middle Eastern countries. Some people are very strict.. some aren't. Fuat's family is pretty traditional.

I think today sucks more than yesterday. Waking up alone.. knowing he's not in the house... horrible :(

OOOHH.. is this what you were referring to? Your consulate must work differently.. we had to send the I-134 with packet # 3 to even get scheduled for an interview. You've already been scheduled, but you don't know if you have a co-sponsor yet? Get that "friend" who promised to do it to fill out the paperwork! Then at least you know you have it.

I'm not sure how it all works with co-sponsors, but if you have the papers... even if your friend changes their mind, you have papers showing you have a sponsor. Might not be "legit", but at least you have something to show at the interview. I wish I knew some way to help you.

Jenn: oh ok....

Maybe think will make you feel better.

Imagine months ago, you were anxiously waiting for your NOA2; but now you're waiting for his interview. You've come a long way so just keep on holding out.

4Lovewelive: let's be honest here, or even go back on previous pages, you've mentioned the situation with not being sure about a co'sponsor and we've replied and supported you; I specifically remember doing so. Since you posted this one again, it hasn't been many posts since then.

I am sorry you feel ignored but I believe you've come this far, God will see you through the rest of the way.

good morning all! just wanted to say hello and give an update.

My honey's medical went really well and he is picking up the results today. Also this morning I finally was able to get the date we wanted for the visa interview! January 13, 2010. While I wish we could have taken one of the earlier dates available, this is what we needed to fit his work schedule. SO....now we wait...but at least we have the date now! :star:

4lovewelive - I am sorry for the troubles you are having with the co-sponsor. I know we've been through this before, but is there no family member of his that can help? I imagine it's pretty tough to get a friend to help. Is your fiance working? Is there any chance if you postpone the interview that he may be able to find a job that will provide enough support? i'm sorry i don't have better advice. but i hope something comes through for you.

jenn - i so know that feeling, waking up alone in the bed. all i can say is UGHHHHHH. :( hang in there...hopefully this next month or so will go by quickly...

I came in the States yesterday and will stay with my honey 2 weeks. I am so happy!!!! :luv: In the same time we are so dissapointed that we are still without NOA2. I do not want to think how we will feel for 2 weeks. I do not want to think I am leaving him and do not know when we will be together again.

I want to be here and now and enjoy in every minute we are together. God is great and I am sure he knows how desperately we want to be together for good.

I have a jet leg and can not sleep cause I am not sure what time is it.

Sorry everyone for my previous post. Its been a hard night and day. I went to bed at 4 after trying to figure out things with my fiance, woke up at 7 and wasnt able to go to work. So I ended up staying home till 12.30 to talk to him again and try to find a solution. Then I had to go to work, tired, hungry, frustrated, trying to hold my tears. I really didnt think it was gonna be that hard.... I know there's nothing much to be said, but i guess i just needed to hear that 'everything is gonna be ok'..... Ive been really bitchy this morning and my fiance doesnt deserve it. Its not his fault things are they way they are. Its not his fault that noone in his family wants to sign or that his friend promissed he would do it but he seems to be a procrastinator.... Im just scared and i gotta stay strong for him and dunno how.... I just wish people would keep their promisses...... I can only trust God and my amazing man.

Sebas&Lily: Joining our september group was good luck :) Congratulations! And good to see another romanian-american couple in here!

paciencia y fe: Congratulations for the interview date. Mine should be a week later. I hope I wont have to postpone it...
