Mathew went and did his police report thing today! He said almost every person in there was for immigration. :) Probably take about 7 days for it to get back to him, but YAY!

Now if only Santa would put him under my tree with a big ole' bow wrapped around him. I've been good this year...I think.

I just got an email from VJ about the website being down. I guess that would explain all the double and triple posts I've been seeing all day long.

Sorry, didn't know you were a girl/lady/female :D Yea now I see why yours went so fast, it was thru VSC... ugh sometimes I think living here in Seattle has a lot of things working against us... I mean the weather, the traffic (I think we are 1st in the nation with LA following), flying to Europe takes double the money and the amount of hours, CSC!!!! Ugh I'm seriously considering to move..

speaking of laptops, I got a new one as a gift a week ago from my mom :D It's still gathering dust :D Also when should I expect a decision since they touched us today? I see JD63 had 3 touches in December.

Kayla, 6/26 is my bday!! That's when you're getting married! Awesome! :D

Well, I'm back.. at least back in the country. Currently sitting in Chicago O'Hare waiting for my connecting flight to Richmond. Have two hours to wait and all I want to do it sleep. My body is telling me it's 1:30am.. and I did not get a lot of sleep last night. Wish I could say it was because I was busy working on needing an ice pack :).. but just couldn't sleep knowing I was going to have to leave.

I've been awake since 6:00am Istanbul time.. and only slept about 3 hours total, so defintely feeling it right now.

Did pretty good with the tears.. until I got to the check-in counter at the airport. Opened my passport holder, to give to the woman at the counter, and Fuat's picture was in there. Forgot I had a picture of him in there, so it suprised me.. and then the tears started. But.. only 9 more weeks until our interview. I just have to keep telling myself that.

Now.. have to get over the jet lag quickly. Working tomorrow and half day on Friday and then starting the drive to Michigan on Friday night. Spending about a week and a half with my Mom and then flying out to Vegas to see my Dad. Great place to spend New Year's though :)

PaciencayFe: I am so excited my heart is racing, literally! Lol!

I'm not ready but if I was to leave now, I'd go in my birthday suit (naked) Lol

Goodluck with the medical!

Jenn: Oh really? When I'm around my parents with him, we hold hands, giggle, poke each other... And when night falls, I tell my dad "it's bed time" and he smiles and say he knows what that means. So wait, where do you sleep???

There aren't much men though.

Ha to the potty talk & strong legs..

Well, I do hope time goes in your favor.

On the flight back, the flight attendant will ask you "what would you like" and you'll say "a ice pak is perfect!"

Kayla:correction, there's a difference between wife & wifey. Wife is when you're actually married. Wifey is when he tells you you're his wife, but you have no ring or wedding plans!

Get that interview!

I slept in the room with his sisters. It may seem a little strange with the not showing affection, but we are not married yet.. and it's not only part of Turkish culture, we also have the Muslim religion aspect of this. It would not be appropriate for us to share a room or anything else.. especially in his parents house.. of course, I do not stay there the ENTIRE trip :) There are a few days at the start/end of the trip when we are in a hotel :):)
