NVC doesn't work on the weekends like USCIS.

Also, for DS3032 acceptance - you may or may not get an email about it. Just keep looking at the online payment system or calling the AVR. I found out mine was accept Aug. 6 because of the AVR updating.

Correct me someone if I am wrong, but is'nt the Packet 3 for K visas??? Are you going K or CR1/IR? or K???

The NVC receives both files from the service center the adjudicated your petitions. The 130(cr1) and the 129f(k3). The k3 should make a short stop at nvc and be forwarded to the consulate where they will send out the packets and schedule the interview. The CR1 will stay at NVC until you complete that process which includes the fee bill that you received and the DS forms.

If you do CR1, your documents go to NVC with the 230... If K3, your application goes to the embassy and you do the packet 3.

Hello all!!!

I got my NOA2 in the mail today, so I will be joining you here. I do have a question for anyone who wishes to respond. My wife is currently living in Spain, but she is a Bolivian citizen. She is in the process of trying to get her Resident Card for Spain, but the process my take another 4-6 months. I spoke with the NVC and they told me she will not be able to get her Police Certificate in Spain if she is not a citizen or have a Resident Card there. They also told me that they will not grant her an interview at the Embassy if she is there illegal. She is going to have to move back to her country to continue in the process. Since I just got my NOA2 in the mail today, when do you think she should move back to her country???? How much time do you think we have before the NVC forwards our information to the correct Embassy??

Thanks in advance!
