Morning MENA...I hope everyone had a good weekend.

We actually had a great time on Saturday...went to my friend's house at the beach for his son's birthday party. They are from France and have lots of international friends, so it was a very fun time and hubby got to meet lots of new people. :)

Today is my job interview at 12:00...so please pray for me. I must get out of this discriminatory h%ll hole!

My prayers are with you Sharifah & Sandra.

I hope you have a wonderful week.

Amanda

Good morning! Happy Monday to everyone. Might have a chance of some rain today! Always

exciting to hear!

Sandra, sorry to hear they extended your husbands military time. What a bummer!! From

what I hear Egypt is famous for doing that. Wael was fortunate to only have been on a

waiting list for 3 yrs. With his degree in Accounting the military didn't need anymore accountants,

so he was finally "free".

Do hope everyone has a wonderful day! Take care!

I am off to look at wet pad/carpet in a basement. Fun stuff, huh? I think can rescue this carpet from demise~ a few rolls of new pad, a few installers to stretch it back in and VIOLA! Another water soaked basement will be back in business. :) Just another day in the life of Jackie.

Happy Monday all.

Today is going to be an awesome day I can just feel it. I have to say the last two days have be very blessed and know that they can continue as long as I stay doing what i am doing as God is great all the time.

Don't have to go to work until the afternoon so I guess since I didn't do all my house work yesterday and do it this morning while Hasan is off to an orientation to see if he can get his Class A truck driving license. We figured we can both try and get it so that we can possibly team drive. Only God knows if this is meant to be.

Oh yes, back to school weather indeed.

I spent a very hot day in sun at the pool yesterday then it got really cool at night and definitely overnight into this morning got darn right chilly. Now as you know I love the heat but the nice breeze and cooler temps is very nice.

Impending estimate for car issues....pray for me (F)

It feels as though I am anticipating going back to school. I got to get into the mindset now. Do I have all the supplies?

Clothes? I need to get to sleep earlier cuz even though I don't see the children off to school every morning, additional traffic is going to force me to leave about 15 mins earlier than normal.

Sandra (F) you didn't need this delay :(

Amanda..good luck in your interview dear (F)

100%....cheer up, it will blow over everyday is a new day

Hubby has been keeping busy refurbishing old stuff and creating some of his own "stuff"

I give him credit for wanting to keep busy and having ideas.

I wonder how much a Ben & Jerry's Flavor Guru makes in a year? That's a job I wouldn't mind waking up early and suffering through traffic for!

Ooooooooooh, Doods, did you have to go down the Ben & Jerry path? Maaaayun! When I saw that bowl of ice cream (from the other thread) I was thinking "Chunky Monkey". While I was washing dishes (faucet finally fixed), I was thinking "Chunky Monkey." Cleaning the veranda, "Chunky Monkey."

Next week I will have a (turkey) bacon cheeseburger and ... Chunky Monkey.
