Photos are evidence that you two have met each other. Don't know if you can get away with it.

CERTAINLY do not lie during this process. You did not lose or have your camera stolen, so do not say that you did

Good luck.

Yes, tell them the camera was lost or stolen...and they will still ask for photos which you don't have and you can add the lost $455 petition fee to your expense to go back and take photos. Olvis Travel and Visa will sell you a ticket. And now you have the big problem of producing photos taken before the petition was filed. You will be adding months of delay to your case and a possible denial of the petition. Unless the photos show you and her together, they are not valid secondary evidence. Photos taken AFTER the petition is submitted do not count. You must submit evidence of meeting in person PRIOR to filing the petition. Go back, and take some photos this time.

Photos are secondary evidence. Primary evidence is things such as travel documents. But neither is valid without the other. I am sure many people go to PI without meeting your fiancee so travel evidence itself is not valid, a photo by itself is not valid (timestamps make no difference as they are easily altered) as it does not show the time period was in the last two years. Travel documents together with photos give plausible evidence (all that is required for the petition) that you WERE there within the last two years and you did meet.

I had NO photos to submit with our K1. Nada. Zip. They are secondary evidence.

We did just fine without any at all.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I wouldn't just give up or take another trip just to take pictures. Perhaps you can just tell them that you just didn't think to take any pictures since you didn't think it was a requirement for the petition. See what they come back with.

Had it not been for my sisters persistance, I wouldn't have any pictures to show either. I hate taking pictures and didn't think to do it either when I was there visiting her. Maybe you can get lucky like cdneh and will be okay. Good luck

Photos are great, but not absolutely neccessary at this stage. All that is important is to show that you have met in person, you can do that with plane tickets, maybe hotel reservations in both your name etc. It would be good if you could meet again before the visa interview though and take photos together in different locations, with her family etc to show at the interview.

How could you not have photos taken together? It's easy to do self portraits. Any normal couple who are so far apart would want photos together. Seems odd.

My fiance and I spent two months together and have 8GB worth of photos of us together. But then again, she's a photoholic.

Some people don't like having there picture taken. Other people keep memories in there head and don't need a piece of paper to remind them of what they already know.

I don't think that's abnormal or odd.

To the OP see my above post. I wouldn't worry about it at this stage of the game.

I find it very odd, too, that even Pinay did not take pics. Most every cell phone has a cam these days. Crappy low-resolution pics are better than none.

The Invisible Man also did well without any pics, so don't feel alone.

I would think the invisible man wouldn't have to worry too much about immigration in general.
