ok nobody in the chatroom so I am forced to start a sensless, useless topic. When I came to the U.S. I lived in Des Moines, Iowa for 2 years, we have since moved to Arizona. I love it here but the summer is almost unbearable. It is a balmy 113 degrees today. YIKES! So I am starting a IT'S SO HOT THREAD...how hot is it where you live?

It is so hot here that instead of hanging fuzzy dice from my car's rearview mirror I hung oven mitts!!

It's hotter than a witches ####### in a brass bra.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

oh, I love Oregon, I used to spend a lot of time in Lincoln City! It's a beauty. I was born in Canada and lived most of my life just outside of Vancouver. I miss the ocean, it is so dry here that the rain disappears immediately after touching the ground! I am not kidding about this one. Last summer I parked at the mall, it was 114 degrees and I was in the mall for about 3 hours. When I came out ( I had shorts on) and sat down in the car, I sat on a quarter that I had dropped on the seat. I have a permanent tattoo of George Washington on my ummm well you know!! lol...OWIE!

It's hotter than a witches ####### in a brass bra.

oh my!!!

Yeah some parts of Arizona are south hell

I experienced that type of weather while in Barstow California. Thought I could walk to the store and the soles of my shoes melted!

I'm glad I'm up in Northern Cali now where it's ONLY 99 degrees today

I'm a Phoenix area native...you do sort of get used to it eventually. Remember it's a dry heat, which does make a big difference.

Well that explains alot, that heat must of fried your brain. :jest:
