oh, I love Oregon, I used to spend a lot of time in Lincoln City! It's a beauty. I was born in Canada and lived most of my life just outside of Vancouver. I miss the ocean, it is so dry here that the rain disappears immediately after touching the ground! I am not kidding about this one. Last summer I parked at the mall, it was 114 degrees and I was in the mall for about 3 hours. When I came out ( I had shorts on) and sat down in the car, I sat on a quarter that I had dropped on the seat. I have a permanent tattoo of George Washington on my ummm well you know!! lol...OWIE!

It's hotter than a witches ####### in a brass bra.

oh my!!!

 hot quarter, ouch painful but funny.

Last time I was in Vancouver was in 1986. Expo 86, I loved it there.

I was at expo there in 86 too..i was the short one with the brown hair lol...why didn't ya wave?? geesh!

I'm a Phoenix area native...you do sort of get used to it eventually. Remember it's a dry heat, which does make a big difference.

Well don't walk anywhere. You're suppose to stay in the house with the AC cranking.

I remember nights where it was midnight and the outside would still be 100 deg. All that asphalt and cement doesn't help out there either.
