Just thought I'd start a page where you can come and vent, rant, have fun, whatever... to get your mind off of this tedious visa stuff while you wait for your significant others to come online

You could call it a pointless, mindless page :)

So, this is your status page, share whatever you like

Vareska is eating sugar cookies at 12:30 am and hoping no one in the house will wake up to see me because I am breaking my diet. Every time I am on a diet I sneak around and have snacks like it's the other family member's diet that's being broken, and not mine. It's quite pathetic really this cheating game I play

And the cookies are some patriotic themed ones, with little red, white and red stars sprinkled all over them, which I don't like so I am scraping them off.

If you keep eating cookies, will the nice dress (that you have decided on, and you want for your vow renewal ceremony http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?pa...mp;style=S5229) fit you :P

I keep making excuses with my pregnancy :P and eat a lot, as my husband doesn't let me smoke anymore. Right now I'm eating Chinese. I need to substitute cigarettes with something, right? Why not food

How do I find out the "touch down dates" you have quoted here? what are these touch down dates?

Howdy neighbor!

You sign up here with your receipt number, and you can track if someone has "touched" your case. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

It really just means that, that someone is doing something with your case. Doesn't mean it's a positive or negative thing, it's just moving through the process :)

Mistakenly sent the I-129 form along with the I-130 form to the Chicago lock box. The I-130 was accepted with a NOA 1 date of 4-7-2009 however, the I-129 was rejected because, of course, it wasn't filed with the Service Center after receiving NOA 1. They kept all the forms and information I filed with the I-129 and sent only the rejection notice. I decided after reading info on the VJ site to only file for the CR-1 and not re-file the I-129. Will this delay processing of my I-130 form? Will they be holding the attachments and my I-129 form thinking I will resubmit to the California Service Center? I registered with the uscis web site and my I-130 hasn't been "touched" since NOA 1, is this normal?

Great website, I have been glued to it since joining, so much good information.
