thanks so much for you all

Congratulations Princess,

what did you take with you to the interview as documents? because my wife has the interview 9 days from today, alhamdo lillah Isent an Email to consulate and they change the interview date from June 25th to May 27th so we're almost there.

cogratulations again, the journey ends here

and to youwho still waiting, I think NVC is not big deal after all, the are trying to do their job, I give them thumb up and good feedback all of the operators talks nicely and answer all the questions taht they can handle. good luck for every one.

thanks so much, i took with me only the 2008 taxes and they asked me about it; for the other papers i already sent them all to NVC; but make sure the documents which you sent to NVC are not expired at the time of the interview because two girls were asked to bring new birth certificate, police record and court record; and also make sure translations were done by an assermented interpreter and translations from usa are not accepted

best luck for you too, tell your wife not to be scared, the interview is really easy

In all due respect. You must be a Moroccan Female that went on the interview. It's much easier for the females then it is for a Moroccan Male going on a interview to be with his American Wife. I have seen Moroccan females doing the fiance petition get approved the next day for their visa. Nevertheless, Mubarak

Wow that seemed very fast for you guys .. Mubarak... Congrats!!!

I just have one question what is the difference from K1 from Cr 1?

Amana

k1 is a fiance visa and cr1 is for married couple

Hicham13, one thing you must be aware of is that the interview process is completely different for Moroccan females then it is for the males.

Make sure you have all 3yrs worth of taxes, and all the proof that you need. It's sad how the consulate discriminates against the males. I have been watching the trend on how they do the males vs the females and it is a stark contrast. The females are so happy when they leave out of the interviews but the consulate officers drain the life out of Moroccan males. That is a clear case of sexism, and discrimination.

Yes INSHALLAH all will be well. I believe that the $400.00 that you paid at the NVC for the DS230 pays for their visa or a portion of it. I am not totally sure, so somebody that knows please answer.
