hello,

my fiance has not had her interview yet. we have seen the possible questions that may be asked and realize not all of them will be asked.

another poster stated that they will only ask questions that is on the paperwork that has been submitted.

she is concerned they might ask questions that isn't on the paperwork and is wanting to know the answers to all the questions.

I myself don't even know the answers to all of the questions and think the less she has to study and remember (as well as myself too) the easier it will be.

So my question for everyone is, do you think we should find out answers to all the possible questions so we both know or just stick with knowing what is on the paperwork that has been submitted.

thank you.

I don't know anything about how in depth about your relationship is, but if you have any time together I think you will be surprised how much you actually know about each other. Use the sample questions as a guidleline and take the questions others have had at the interview and go over them together....really just make sur eyou are on the same page.

questions are somewhat random, this really depends on the VO, if you feel that there might be issues, then you should talk about it with your fiance and make sure he understands.... our interview is in June, i've been prepping my fiancee 2 months ago on random things and make sure she remembers...

I recommend reading the embassy reviews for your particular embassy. Some people post the questions they were asked there.

If they ask her a question, and the answer to the question is not contained in the paperwork they have, how will they know if the answer she gives is correct?

I think in those cases they're just fishing to see if she has any answer to give. In that case, the only wrong answer is "I don't know".

Hello there! May I ask what consulate you are going to be interviewing at? I can tell you from experience that Canadian K-1 interviews are anything but difficult. I had my interview in Montreal two weeks ago and it lasted a grand total of 5 minutes. I was asked no difficult questions at all... she was more interested in the type of wedding we were planning then anything serious regarding our relationship. I invite you to read my Montreal consulate review for a better understanding of what to expect. For Canadians, the interview is generally the easiest part of the process, it was for me and a lot of others. As long as there are no serious problems with your application, no worries!

They can ask anything they want or nothing. We had -0- questions. Some members report getting grilled for hours and having to come back for more
