Would appreciate an update on this I-129 petition filed in April 2009 by our constituent for his fiancée. Information regarding current processing times would be helpful. Many thanks for your assistance in responding to Mr. ---------

The aide also told me that VSC are doing December 2009 applications right now

any opinions ?

.

Any case status updates on USCIS website?

yes mine just now with RFE. These idiots make my life a bit miserable. hope I will stuff their throats with whatever they want and get over the whole ordeal.

Damn, do you have any idea what they might want?

dont have a slight clue. could be anything from checking the box that had been omitted to some serious documentation. what I am actually pissed about is that the way they have been handling the whole thing. They absolutely have no idea what is going on there and howw to present the whole process. But in the and what can u expect from government scumbags.

I think it is normal to have one touch after NOA2. Happened to me and I read elsewhere that usually means the file was handled for the last time at USCIS as it was being prepared to be sent to NVC.

Good morning everyone :star: To be honest, I haven't looked at the USCIS site since I got the email that it was approved. Then it went to NVC and on to the consulate...why stress about it  Moving right along (as they say!).

I hope we get some good news for those that haven't gotten anything yet...have a great day!

latest udate.... the bozos at NVC still have us on AP..... the 25th will be one month... and every other time i call there they say they cant talk to me because my birthday is not in their system correctly... I cant believe it... our case seems to me to be cut and dry... no kids involved.... no criminal records for either of us... no ties to any terrorist org.... and more than adequate income level.... plenty of initial evidence... arghhhhhh

but on the upside my lady has completed her 1st day of the medical at st lukes.... we decided to go ahead and get that done even before the packet got to manila... just in case they decided on some stupid test....

hmmmm i guess i kinda sound negative today...

but I have given this whole visa process a lot of thought... it seems to me that each usc that has a petition that is more than 4 months in the system ought to have the legal right to go to any agency that has their petition and just pick one idiot that walks out of there at quitting time and harass the hell out of them.... now.. i dont want to go overboard on this... each petitioner just gets to pick 1 a week... lol.... I really think that by doing this it would speed up the process incredibly!

Well hear this, you will like this one, I call uscis today and told this lady I was past the 5 months, so she check and said yes you are , we can do a service request, I said yes I would like for you to do that, so she took my information etc, so I said thank you and hung up the phone. Well I just got home and looked at the computer and I had a message from uscis state all of this information about my request to expedite my case which is 3 weeks past 5 month and I never ask for my case to be expedited, only wanted a service request, well the letter went on and said your request was denied and that the petition/application will be processed within the normal processing time here at the center.

Come on vermont, we are not in the normal time here we are outside it by 3 weeks, what is wrong with these people, it only takes 3 hours for them to denied a request but takes them 6 to 36 months to approval one. I tried to call again and there system is down. And along I was thinking I had a touch or something good. All I got was a mistake and nothing I can do about it.

The same way you did before, log into your account. As I see it, there is no real contents improvement, just nicer graphics. The only useful thing they added is that you can sign up for status change text messages being sent out to your phone in addition to emails.

Hi all!

We are rooting for those of you still waiting for approvals. I totally understand how frustrating this must be....

Regarding the touches after the approval email, our file was touched about 3 days in a row after approval. I think this is normal and must be involved in the process of preparing the mail from USCIS to NVC and sending the case file to permanent storage. Our file took about 8 days from approval to show up at NVC but was out of NVC to the embassy in just two days.

We still haven't seen packet 3 yet, but Rinda did the medical at Bumrungrad Hospital yesterday. The total cost was almost 8200 baht i($248 US) including the four vaccinations she needed. She is so sore today and really suffering. I feel bad for her, but at least this is done. We were at the hospital from 10:30am until 4pm.

Now we are waiting for the police report. As soon as that comes in next week, packet 3 will go to the embassy and we should hear about the interview dates. Everything is supposed to be fast here in Bangkok for once, so hoping she will get an interview by second week of October. I have to head home on Tuesday night, so this is the last time I will see her before she comes to the USA.

Good luck to all!

Chris
