Consulate Review: Bulgaria
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 22, 2009
Embassy Review : Interview went very easy and fast. They asked me about how I met my fiance? How many times did he come visit in Bulgaria? What did we do here? Do I know his parents? Does he know my parents? When is the wedding? and couple of more questions of that nature. I had like 2 huge folders full with papers and evidence but they only asked for the forms I had to complete, the I 134 form some pay stubs to go with it and some pictures and conversations. A couple of min after the lady took my papers to do some paper work the consular called me. It was a very nice young lady. She asked me where did we meet and if I knew his parents. She took finger prints and congratulate me with the visa. She gave back to me all the evidence about the relationship and my passport which freaked me out because at the same time she was congratulating me so i couldnt understand what was going on. After she was done with the congratulations I asked her if she didnt need my passport and she was like Of course I need it thank god you asked then apologized and took back my passport and told me that I was going to receive it in 3-5 business days with the visa in it
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
