I know what that is like. David is flying in July 1st. Hoping we have our approval so we can celebrate while we are together for those few days. it's been over 100 days ( i just stopped counting once it hit 100 :( )since CSC received our application.

while hes here for the week i wanna get all the stuff signed etc that we need to do in advance..so when i do get my packet 3 i can just send it all off same day.

It'll be about 24 weeks for us. Long, long time.

But still better than what I was originally expecting. When we said goodbye at the airport, we were prepared not to see each other until January 2010.

As soon as we get our NOA2, we'll start preparing for the next step.

Lets hope yours is like mine. I couldnt see it until the day it got approved. It doesnt say it was approved online, but that was the first day that I could see it, the date on my NOA2. If thats the case for you too that would be wonderful, have it just pop up and get your approval notice that week in the mail!

Thanks. I hope you are right too. It would be a great surprise to suddenly see it online!

Forgive me if I am slow and this has been mentioned before but just checked on the USCIS processing time site and it looks like at some point recently it went from 6 months to 5 months. (though hoping for much faster than that!) Nice news indeed for us March folks.

Thanks. I hope you are right too. It would be a great surprise to suddenly see it online!

When I checked mine out I gasped. I had checked that morning and as usual, red text "your application cannot be found" yada yada. Checked it again around 8pm my time and it said "on march 3rd we received your petition" and I was like OMG! I was on skype with Wes when I gasped and he gave me a funny look and asked if I was alright. It got touched again the next day around 12:30 my time, then on Thursday we got the NOA2. If it comes online suddenly and gets touched the next day, its probably a good thing. One of the Feb filers had the exact same thing happen, 2 touches the same 2 days as me, and then the NOA2 in her mail later that week.

As for the 5 month, yeah CSC has gotten themselves down to the 2009 goal of 5 months, which is awesome! Hopefully no one here has to wait that long though.

I hope you enjoy your visit Frosty! I wish I was so luck as you and Kim. Its been over 100 days now and it will probably be another 60-90 days till I finally get to see Wes again.
