One small update from me - I finally received a transfer notice via postal mail from VSC. We had moved 2 weeks before the transfer, and we filed change of address AR-11, I-865 and pending petition Feb 4. Got confirmation of all the change of addresses by mail, and I also called the 1800 number to confirm pending petition, but VSC still sent transfer notice to old address, which was marked Return to Sender as of Feb 19th. They then remailed it to me on the Feb 27th and it turned up a couple of days ago. I really hope that the address will be updated by the time it gets to approval...

Forgot to say, I'm starting to think Paula W's case was like a 'test/trial' run for CSC to look at VSC cases since there has been no movement since that approval...

Glad to hear that Tex. I know you were worried about the change of address getting processed. One less thing to worry about.

I hope you're right about Paula because if the transfers start getting processed while the non-transferred VSCers continue to languish I'll be even more dissatisfied with USCIS.

Can someone pls add me into the list? Receipt date: June 9. Transfer Feb 11.

Thanks for the support - yeah, I was getting really worried about getting the snail mail transfer notice, generally prefer to have stuff on paper from USCIS :D Surprised it was marked Return to Sender though...

Yeah, the reason I think Paula W's case is a test, is because of the date, its not the beginning or end of the month, it's like it was randomly selected to see how much time it would take to process a case from VSC. If they are transferring 80,000 cases (and I'm assuming those are not all I-751) so say that 20% are = 16,000 cases. If they have a 100 officers (and I don't know how many officers they have at all), and say each case takes 3 hours to review and take an action (could be RFE, approval, denial), then that's 2.25 cases per day per officer or 225 cases a day. 16,000 cases will take approx 71 days to process. Just my speculation.... So maybe they did a 'test' day or something like that, to figure out the workload and estimated processing times...

So now you guys can finally believe transfer from VSC to CSC is absolutely no doubt one good thing for the Year 2009 :thumbs: . Last time I said look out for that transfer e-mail, this time I said look out for that approval mail my fellow VJers :dance: .

Just to confirm - it is 80,000 I-751 applications that are being transferred. There are other transfers of other forms as well, but they are in addition to the 80,000, according to the AILA notification.

Thanks to those transfers the backlog will be dramatically reduced. And April and May cases are being approved at VSC anyways...

Hi! I have been a frequent visitor of this site. Just like most of you here, I've been anxiously waiting for my approval as well. The journey has been quite longer for us VSC filers but with the recent transfer of cases to CSC, I hope that this is bringing us closer to the light at the end of the tunnel. Just a few hours ago, I got a letter from CRIS that my case was transferred to CSC also. I am just ecstatic with the development...the going gets faster as it seems to be.

Would someone please add me to the list of transferees. Just got the email saying I was being shipped off to California service centre. Just don’t know if this move is a good or bad thing. With all this moving hope things don’t go missing.
