First hello,

I want to say thanks to everyone who offers help on this website!

I have been lurking and reading and reading and reading for quite some time now. I feel because of the patience and input of so many members that information is quite easy to locate here. From what I have seen there is little if no flaming that takes place. I feel this is true because we are all in the same boat here. Just trying to find the easiest way to be with our loved ones.

I was actually considering to hire someone to process our application, but after spending some time here, reading the guides, and the posts I came to realize it was not necessary...at least I hope not!

As we all twiddle our thumbs waiting for the unseen force out there to process our requests, I find there is no end to the support from people here. I really do think this is wonderful. To those who have completed the whole process and still continue to offer help, thanks and kudos to all of you!

To those who I have seen that are mired in some departments red tape, my hopes for a good outcome are with you, well, actually they are with all of you even those whose process is moving along at the snails pace I have come to recognize here...which now will include me also...haha.

Okay that is it for now. I need to stop typing and get back to my thumb twiddling. I am interested to see how calloused my thumbs become as I wait, and wait and I am only at the very beginning. My thanks again to all!

welcome here, you ll find this website very interesting, there are a lot of people with experience who can answer your questions or help guide you through the process and there are other who even though cant help would support you emotionally, its a draining and sometimes frustrating experience but in the end....il tell you, it's worth it.

The joy of being with your loved one can not be described.

Wow! Thanks to everyone for their warm welcome. That is why I like this site.

Well Vermont finally received my paperwork. Not too bad, I sent this out for 3 day delivery and it only took 5! Then today, I was paying some bills online and I noticed that my check had been processed on the 20th...let the games begin!
