Can someone please tell me again what to do with the DS-3032 barcode instructions? I am confused because I thought we should wait for the DS-3032 to be generated before doing anything with the forms.

We've yet to be able to call NVC. We got our NOA2 on Jan 28. Next step is to call NVC and verify they have our package, and to get our NVC number, right?

We plan on sending DS-3032 via email and postal mail. Where do use the barcode? I mean, if it's already been gnereated and you get an email about it, does that get you the barcode? What IS it for? Do we use the barcode sheet if we want to mail it by post?

From what I read, we should start asking for the IIN or Invoice ID Number as soon as the DS-3032 and AOS fee bill are generated. Correct?

"Make sure to write your case number in the upper right-hand corner of EVERY page including I-864"

This refers to the new NVC case number, right? Has nothing to do with the USCIS case number (right up to NOA2)?

Hi fellows!!

Im confused to fill out the I-864. I have a joint sponsor which is my mom and she fill out the I-864 too since we didnt lived in same household. now, im confused in PART 6 item # 23.my current individual income is:?How to compute since i have different gross income every year??When i saw to the example form he put $55,000 since he had same annual income for 3 yrs.

In item # 24(B) do i need to put none? since I didnt use income from otehr person who has counted in my household???..my joint sponsor is mom but we are not in same household. Pls help me with thjis.. Thanks in advance

For the I-864 can I send three years worth of tax transcripts or does the most recent year have to be 1040 & W-2?

I would send the email again as before the DS-3032 is generated they may not have a way to match it up together. I think in our case the hard copy was accepted before the email.

I saw on someone's post they got a RFE because thy had submitted 2008 tax info but since they had not files yet they did not have hte W2 stuff. Whatever you submit, it seems they want the complete year of paperwork including hte W2, 1099 and 1040. (I am not American so I hope I got those forms correct).

Just called ask speaked to operator. Were told that 3032 was generated yesterday, feb 3rd. We were in a rush and actually emailed and mailed it on monday, feb 2nd. Oh well, gonna email it again now and hope for some responsee. Good luck to everybody - this is much better than uscis trip.

We received ours today as well. I just paid online now. IV fee has not been generated yet. Tried to call NVC to check on the acceptance of the DS-3032 but all operators were busy. Will try later.

Okay. I thought so. But in the barcode instructions, bandy "case number" is that the new NVC number that we need to get by phone or is it the old USCIS case number (which we have)?

My husband is staying with me in Bangkok. It's expensive and difficult connecting to an overseas phone. Is it necessary for us to call NVC to get the NVC case number and also the IIN? Or will they send us that information via e-mail (albeit more slowly perhaps)?

Am filling out my form now and reviewing it. Thanks so much

Hi all,

I just got the NOA2 on 1/29/2009. I am new to the NVC process.

During the NVC processing, after DS-3032 form is completed, do you also need to send in the DS-230

form part 1 and part 2 to NVC?

I thought the benificiary needs to bring the form to the consulate abroad during the interview time.
