Also my husband has been hear illegally for about 10+yrs. & was told I would need to submit financial hardship form as well as any letters from his employer, family, friends, priest anybody that can be of help as far as stating what type of person he is, how him not being hear would effect me financially, etc. Do you have any information that could be of assistance to me & what to expect at the interview.

Hi & welcome.

I have a question. Why as a May filer has our case not been processed yet? I read on here that an October filer has been approved!

The service request only told us that our file is received & pending. No security checks were mentioned. We call USCIS & they are no help.

What could the problem be?

It really depends on several of factors. The office the case is filed to (being the most important), as well as the exact filing date. You can post the details in a reply about your case, as many as you would like and I'd be happy to help, just make sure to include as much as you can. Most notably the following:

- Filing Date

- Office with jurisdiction over the case (usually the office it was mailed, unless it was mailed to Chicago, any other lockbox facility or if the case was transferred.)

- Application Number (ex. I-751, I-130, I-485, I-129, I-730, etc.)

- Any Mail (Notices) received from USCIS (ex. I-797 (receipt notice, approval notice, etc.) and the date you received them.

- Any additional details you believe are key to getting your case processed. (ex. (but not limited to) Infopass Interviews, Calls Made to USCIS Customer Support, Service Requests, etc.)

You can make your own post and then PM me with a link to it if you want, but please do so in the appropriate forum to abstain from going off-topic. :)

Welcome aboard!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
