I need to Vent!!

I’m a long time reader first time poster.

I know a few of you are familiar with my story through Kygeographer ...

well I went to visit him to see him graduate and his mum hated me, didn’t want to find out anything about me anything I said was shot down. she made me feel so bad for being there. Then his dad came in and I didn’t exist in his eyes, he wouldn’t look at or talk to me. The whole week was bad.

I end up going to Montana to visit him at his new job and all week he treats me like I’m his flat mate not his fiancée. I’m trying to find out what’s going on all week and he won’t tell me anything.

All he can tell me is that he doesn’t want to be with me cause his not ready for marriage even thought he was the one pushing to get married.

I fly home to Australia and then find out:

* That he had Sex while I was there with another girl…..

* about 2 hours after we had had sex.

So the girl his meant to be marrying is home asleep and his off have sex with someone else. I just don’t understand how someone could do that!!

I Loved him so much and still do.

I fly across the world to see him with money I had to borrow and I went through all this ####### with his family then I find out that he has cheated on me while I was there.

I’m just so upset. I just can’t understand, How someone could do that??

I am so sorry for all that you had to go though, Crazy. I don't have any real answer for how someone could treat you like that, except to say that he's obvioiusly an immature lout. I know this is not much comfort but try to take solace that you found out what sort of person he is now instead of after you got married.

What I would do is to tape your favorite derogatory word (mine is @$$hat) over his picture in your mind until you reaize that he really isn't worth caring about. Don't let him beat you, pick yourself up and move on. You'll find a much more worthy mate, I am sure of it.

It took me 2 edits to realize that it would not allow me to use the phrase "my a d v i c e" /sigh

wow.....sorry to read this....he always speaks very fondly of you I remember him posting about your pending visit and the probs with his mom.

I know you are hurt right now but public arguments between couples that frequent this board are never pretty...do you not have close friends you can talk to right now? or maybe you should be talking to your fiance privately. I am not saying this to be mean to you but rather out of concern for you.

Sounds like he was too chicken to stand up to his parents, then allowed them to convince him you were wrong for him, and then was too chicken to tell you.

he still seems to be under some sort of hold from his parents and that's hard to see.

i would never allow my parents to treat my husband in such a fashion. he seems rather confused and committed quite the betrayal.

i would give it some time to heal and move on. best of luck to you!

I second that. Hang in there... it will get better as time goes by. He simply was not worth it. Anyone who does not treat you right is not worth it... and you are better off without him though I know you must feel close to breaking right now. ((((HUGS))))

Oh geez, shows you how blonde I am. I just now realized the OP's fiance posts here too. I reread his posts, he sounded SO excited when she was coming here to visit.

I dunno what to think.
