Can someone remind me of the place(s) where I can leave my mobile and car keys when I go for my interview?

One place didnt open till 0830 and my appt is at 9...... a little worried as some people said they queued for 30-45 mins to be allowed in.

Any suggestions ??

was it Goulds pharmacy, 37 N Audley St? thought they open at 7ish?

how much do they charge? any ideas? if they open at 7-730 that would be ideal.....

thought i'd seen on here somewhere under a fiver, but not sure exactly.

I have a copy too, but that is because I have a complete copy of the 129f. I don't remember seeing it mentioned either. Sorry not much help.

that's alright! thanks for trying!

sorry i missed these posts. i only had the photocopy of Vitos passport because it was in the copy of the i-129f. and when i took my copy home i was under the impression it was good to have a copy.

in the end i didnt need it or the i-129f.

they didnt want the letter of intent either, though some do if their noa2 expiration date has been and gone at interview. i will quote my list and underline all that they took or asked from me.

ok here is my contents of my folder for my interview i am putting together, please feel free to tell me if something is missing or should be there.

1/ interview letter from embassy and "packet 4" and current passport.

2/ oldpassport (with the stamps in), passport photos, my birthcertificate, police certificates, photocopy of Vitos birthcertificate that was submitted with pertition, and a new recent letter of intent signed by Vito. (should i sign one or do they get me to sign something else?)

3/one copy of every form i sent in for packet three as it was sent (with no hyphen, like in passport) and one copy of almost every form i sent back for packet three with hyphen incase they pick holes about me sometimes using it (so people sometimes realise its all my surname)

4/affidavit of support form (notarized) plus three years of of w2s and a letter from his work on company letterhead signed about length of employment and good standing. they only took my copy of his 2007 w2s and 1040ezs, though dont qiote my experience on if they only want one year or all three.

5/ document worksheet thing i got from medical/plus the letters of my doctors about vaccination records(dunno why i want to keep them together but hey)

6/ timeline of our relationship (not signed by either of us), photocopies of Vitos picture page of passport and relevent stamps (where we met and visits) photocopies of my picture page passport plus stamps.

7/ photocopy of a receipt his dad got from my hotel (logo on top) for their stay refering to Vito as son, this is when we/how we met. i dont have the original. couple of anotated rubbish photo stills from a night his dad captured us on camera in the bar, on that trip.

8/e tickets and plane tickjet reciepts, train tickets of the route Vito works and some cash receipts from places we went to from my september trip. some more photos on plain paper anotated from sept trip.

9/eticket and online boarding pass print out for his plane ride jan trip, more photos of that trip.

10/ eticket from my april trip plane ticket stubs train ticket stubs some more cash receipts, and tickets not with my name on it for his concert i went to, a letter on hotel letter head from my boss stating that i was due back in two weeks no later for work, incase the immgration guys asked. and more photos of that trip.

11/his boarding pass printouts for sept triponline receipt print out when he paid for hotel in new forest when he came, receipt from beaulieu in new forestgot both our sigs on it. more photos.

12/loads of screen shots of skype call history (over view) only going back till the july 08 (program wiped the rest) screen shots of yahoo messenger going bk to arch 08 same prob.

13/ screen shots of my inboxes of two email accounts with vitos emails to me, some are the first chats we have so dated right after he flew bk first time round.

14/screen shot of inbox of emails from his familly to me. and some cards (xmas, this one, from me to them)

15/ some examples of post, boxes with his return address, cards form him to me work sheets from parcels he sent, may also find some receipts from post i sent him.

16/ unsigned contract for our wedding venue but has his name on it. and various emails between us and vendor he forwarded me about the wedding.

17/ some engagement cards we got

18/ copy of petiton, with bits nicked from it for my evidences.

wow this is a lot more than it looks. i feel bad taking up some much space in this thread.

forgot to add i am still to photocopy things will get that done in the next couple of days.

right i underlined all they took from me from my memory which felt more at the time, i think because they gave me bk forms and my xray and i had photocopies of all important documents. theyt ask for those so they can give you bk the orignial  it was overkill, but it made me feel better to be prepaired.

Yes that is the place. I think some other's have cropped up along Audley St. since it's easy money. I can't remember if it's five or ten pounds.

You won't need USC's birth certificate or a copy of it. They mainly want to review your Affidavit of Support and don't need to see pages of your relationship together. I think the reason VJ suggests giving the foreign fiance a copy of the I-129F packet is more for a study guide, probably more needed at other Embassies and where there is a language barrier. You know how some embasssies grill the fiance on things like name his school or grandmother or whatever. That won't happen at London. Some easy chat-like questions..."So when is the wedding? What does Joe do for a living?"

You are all going to be fine. The day will be a little anti-climatic after all the build up to it. And calling DOS everyday won't speed up your appointment. They just read the info London puts in the computer and until they schedule you DOS won't know. But if you're just itching to know keep calling. We all felt the same way. LOL. Waiting around makes me a crazy person too.

Good luck to all of you.

Fees are $131 plus £14 and up for delivery depending on the option you pick. You can pay in £ or $, cash or card. Only the delivery fees are in pounds. You won't be able to take a large bag in but a wallet should be fine. This security notice has more info http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/index.html

On another note, good luck Nick for today!

They let women take in handbags. Watches are okay, but go in a plastic bag to ride through the scanning device. The lady told me I could just put mine in my handbag to go through the scanner. I saw cigarette lighters going through too.
