... there are no bonuses.

Maybe you should get a real job.

Oops, was channeling ={Rogue}= there for a moment, never mind me........

lol

To the OP - all of the employees got bonuses at my company this year, even though I was telling myself not to expect one this year because of the economy. The two owners of the company called each employee in to their office one by one. They are very good bosses and I'm very thankful.

Sorry to hear that. But yes, having a job is certainly something to be thankful for in these times!

I got an X-MAS bonus.

Congrats!

Believe it or not, but many high-income doctors are having a tough time in this economy. Their investment income is off, and no doubt their retirement savings are down at least 30%. At the end of the day, it is the value of their retirement investments that matter to them and their families.

They cut them this year. We got "symbolic bonuses." Also nobody got a raise.

I didn't work for them last year, so I don't know what they usually do. I thought it was a prudent move.

My department works in R&D within the corp. The budget allocated this year is still big. My bonuses, etc.. was determined at the beginning of the project. I didn't get them yet until last friday, pay-day!

My bonus from my dad was only 1/10th of what he normally gives me :crying:

But it was still more than mine, Amby
