Happy Monday MENA! (F)

Wishing you all a beautiful day. I hope many of you have off work and for those of you that don't (like me) we will sit and be sad by ourselves at work...:P I know my week will be so dead with the amount of people off on vacation. Good (more VJ time) and bad (the day goes SOOO SLOW).

What are the plans this week? Who has off and who is at work?

Same here Courtney (well after work running around) I forgot a few things as well...my family is here and some others arrive on Tuesday night. Everyone from the East Coast is running away from the snow to us this year! :D

Painting sounds fun and I wish I had off as well.

BTW---Party Highlights I forgot to add from our Holiday Party Saturday night. Many out of control coworkers....I have SOOO many fun stories to remind them of. Maybe remind the girl (that tried to give my hubby and our hosts hubby a lap dance :wow: ) of the strange man she was cozied up with when we left. :lol: Or the girl that caught her dress on fire by the fire pit...hmmm. It was a mess but my hubby had so many funny stories to tell my father the morning after. My father now regrets not going but thankfully we took pictures. :P:devil:

Good morning and happy Monday! Wael only has a 3 day work week. Gotta love the government!

Annie, i'm sure they will love our weather and won't want to leave. Love the new baby pics! I love the holidays!

Happy Monday to everyone! I have to work part of the day then going out for last minutes shopping!

It is so cold here in Ohio with windchill can be 25 below zero!!

You know it's cold when it's too cold for the salt to melt the ice on the road. Lots of accidents on the road to work today, but alhamdulilah, aside from a little slip and sliding, we made it a-ok.

No holiday plans, just staying home Wednesday and Thursday, hanging with my cat and the husband, maybe making some chinese food and watching some movies. I would go out for halal chinese food on Christmas, but I'm thinking I won't want to set foot outdoors if I dont' have to.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Brrrrrrrr-it's cold outside and inside, i guess my furnace decided to go on strike today when it's 3 deg outside UGH!! i'm sick of it! i never thought i'd say, i'm glad to be going to work today just to go get some heat...lol

There's ice on my windows inside in my bathroom and bedroom! :wacko:

I work today and tomorrow and that's it for the week. Today's my cookie exchange at work. I had to make 7 dozen cookies. The ones I made were so yummy and easy. I made bar cookies which I'd never done before (Nestle toll house recipe) I'm never going back to messy drop cookies :P

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

Courtney did you really paint with midgets? Is it like an outreach program in your area or something? Sounds interesting.

Annie omg you took me back to my drinking days!!! After one too many off the wall Christmas parties I vowed only to have ONE drink thereafter at each party. Just not worth the aftermath of seeing coworkers who took pictures. :whistle::innocent:

I want chinese so bad on Christmas Eve but hubby HATES chinese food. Is that an Egyptian thing because I remember moody said that about her husband too. He loves Mexican food but hates Chinese food. Oh well.

I'm working today and tomorrow with a 1/2 day Wed then off Thurs and Fri. I'm contemplating taking Monday off but I'll have to check how my earned time balance is doing first.

My husband loooooooooooooooooooves chinese food. He knew I liked it, so when I went to Egypt the first time, he found us a dinner cruise that served chinese food. Now it's our tradition - chinese dinner cruise every time we go to egypt, and chinese food on special occasions here. Thankfully, we have a restaurant here that serves zabiha indo-chinese food, otherwise going 100% zabiha would have been near impossible :blink:

-2 ohhhhhhhhh do I deserve such heat? lol I am getting used to this frigid weather. My car almost didnt want to start today.

My week--work today, work 1-8pm on Tuesday then off for 2 days yahooooooo

Star obviously you didnt use the famous tacky looking plastic on your windows :)

Hope ya'll have a great day and stay warm to my buddies in the midwest and east coast! (you cali/florida girls.... i really do envy you today)
