ICE arrests 84 illegal immigrants in Dallas area

Associated Press

Dec. 19, 2008, 7:53PM

DALLAS — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested 84 illegal immigrants in the Dallas area this week.

The arrests came after a five-day operation in 18 different cities that ended Thursday, according to an agency news release. Sixty-four of the people arrested had final deportation orders and the remaining 20 were immigration violators that agents encountered during the operation, the release said.

Four of the people arrested had either outstanding warrants for their arrests or previous criminal convictions, the agency said.

interesting stats

I find it interesting too. While in the act of arresting 64 illegal aliens with final deportation orders they find an additional 20 illegal aliens hanging out with them. Is anyone surprised?

What really will be a surprise is if Obama will continue to enforce the law. I will give the Clinton administration credit in that regard. They at least did a better job of enforcing immigration and workplace authorization laws than that nitwit Bush (and his nitwit daddy). Bush waited 6 years and millions of illegal aliens later before he even started any meaningful enforcement. In any event...it doesn't say much all around. They have all failed the American people since 1986. I don't have much faith in Obama either.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

ICE should have already shipped his lawbreaking Auntie back already. And as you will notice the liberal left wing radical wacko media hid that from the general public and never reported on it at all, as a matter of fact it was buried on the back pages on a sunday! I predict it is going to become a major thorn in the Messiah's ####### because there are a lot of people in the USA that did follow the laws and did immigrate the long lengthy legal way only to see someone like Ovomit's Auntie playing the I wanna stay and break USA law game. Makes me sick thinking how those of us that follow the rules and the law get disrespected like this. And to think this guy is now a president of the USA, it is downright disgusting and frightening!

Obama has an illegal family member here. Wonder if ICE will go after them?

And auntie is living in public housing at the public's expense (even while being an illegal alien). If I'm not mistaken, she has deportation warrants out on her. When will the American people wake up to the stupidity and malfeasance of the idiot politicians mismanaging our country. This is so absurd it defies any reasonable logic.

well.. as long as the raid was conducted in a proper and humane way.. good for ICE

No sh!t. All that people have been trying to say all along about the enforcement point of view.

law enforcement is cruel ... don't you know this yet?

That must explain why certain family members are total jackazzes...

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
