Today is my last day of work before my week vacation

I am going to try and catch up today but yesterday I was slammed with work and have no idea if it will get done or not. It is from the group I call the procrastinators, lol! I told them I am going on vacation tomorrow and this may not get done........

Maybe it's too early for me here but I get a kick out of this pix. Anyways I'm on the bus to Boise today! I hope that the roads are ok from the snow storm this week.

Yesterday was eventful:

*Got in a minor car accident. I was following a bit too close (still probably 30 feet behind a car) on the road by my house. He was breaking to turn, and my breaks wouldn't work! Stupid snow/ice! Thankfully, I only bumped into him going like 3 mph, and there was no damage. The guy was so nice, wasn't mad at all, and after a minute of looking for any damage, we were both on our way.

*Interrupted a drug deal in my apartment parking lot and got a death threat. I pulled into my spot and went to the passenger's side to get my groceries. The people in the car next to me were shooting me looks of death as I was next to their car, and I noticed bags of white powder and money being exchanged. They told me to walk away or they'd kill me I need to move.

In happier news, Squeaky the cat finally has a toy she likes. I got her every imaginable cat toy under the sun, and she's not impressed by any of them, except the laser pointer. We had some good times with that yesterday and this morning.

I put stickers all over my kitty the other night and she went psycho! I know it sounds mean but she is so goofy anyways. I put them on her ears and above her eyes and she was crazy She loves the laser light also. Once my husband put it up the curtain and she race all the way up the curtain to the curtain rod to get to it!

Big storm coming our way today!

We're all stocked up with food in the fridge, oil in the tank and dvd's and books galore. Kids are getting picked up at noon since the school's letting everyone go early so it will just be me and my kitty here tonight until hubby gets home. Luckily we got his boots last week so he's all set for his walk home from work.

Where do you guys get that laser light for the cat? I'd love to get one for her!!! She usually amuses herself in the back window in the am where the squirrels are and in the front window in the afternoon where the sun comes in and warms her furry little self. My cat is weird too. She love loves loves string, which is normal, but she feeds the string! She has one end of it going to her food and the other end going in the water. I remove it every day but they always find themselves back in there. When she had fake mice, etc. she used to plop them right in her food and water bucket too! lol.

I keep looking outside for flakes. I'm sooo excited! I mean we do have a little snow/slush on the ground but this will be our first big storm!

Now I have to go find a library that has Twilight in it. Apparently it's fascinated my youngest girl and I'm just so happy when either one of them wants to read anything so that's cool.

There are tons of lasers at both petco and petsmart. If I had to buy another one, I'd look for one that you could click on and didn't have to hold a button. On mine, you have the hold the button down, and my thumb gets sore after awhile.

I have this one. It was the cheapest one there and came with an extra set of batteries.

Bridget you're probably getting our storm! Many schools are closed today and even my library is closed. The only thing is I was supposed to take most of today as a vacation day, so I'm sure they're going to make me keep it as a vacation day and not pay me a snow day. I was robbed!!!

I have a Christmas party to go to tonight in downtown though. It's at Fogo De Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse. Yum.
