You know, i wasn't looking forward to Christmas without my husband either and i miss him so much i feel like my heart is being split in two but i have my 3 year old and so i will find the joy in watching her open her presents and when she wishes her father a Merry Christmas on the phone i will be happy because this will be the last Christmas withouth him. I will never take my husband for granted. Next Christmas i will get up early and make my daughter and my husband a huge breakfast and i won't mind being tired cause it will be well worth it to know that he is here and my daughter has her father.

Christmas is such a Joyous time and yet without a loved one to share Christmas with it can be the most depressing time of the year.

E-migra / MrsRowe - We are almost at the end of our visa journey and can take comfort in knowing this will be the last Christmas we ever spend apart from our husbands and loved ones.

2009 will bring a new Chapter in all our lives...I can't wait for the days to fly by.

Merry Christmas!!!

I haven't spent Christmas with my hubby for five years now (since he started migrating to the US). Now that he is a Citizen and we are almost done with the "Visa Journey" I'm really excited about Christmas because it only means one thing, this is the last Christmas I am going to spend away from my husband. So all of us who are almost done with the process, let's not be sad...because the next thing we know, we're already fighting with our hubbies/wifeys on who's going to cook Christmas dinner or who's going to wrap Christmas presents. Enjoy your time alone with friends and other relatives for now, because it's going to be a a BLAST for all us in 2009!!! (in a good sort of way) Let's all be excited for our future!!! ;)

Best regards,

Ynatots

I don't like Christmas anymore.. a song or anything related reminds me why we are still not together.. We haven't spent one Christmas together either for so long.. The only thing we got together was for my birthday last year.. that was really the best birthday I had.. To celebrate Christmas, I bought another Santa hat (I gave her mine last time), and we will clap our hands and I will sing to her through the webcam.. something along the lines of Josh Groban "I'll be home for Christmas".. =)

Seasons Greeting!!! This is a jolly good time of the year...even though we are apart from our spouses and oh boy I know it breaking all of our hearts. I do hope each and everyone of us find a little bit of happiness this season. As ynatots rightfully said 2009 Xmas will bring us all new challenges and an entirely different kind of joy.

Don't judge life by one different season. Perserve through the difficult patches and better time are sure to come in time. Always remember that:

(1) Kindness keeps you sweet.

(2) Trials keeps you strong.

(3) Failures keeps us humble.

(4) Success keeps you growing.

ONLY GOD KEEPS US GOING

I have never spent a Christmas with my husband, I have only spent his birthday with him on Dec. 6th when I was in Paris, and in July 2007 I spent Bastille day with him, "Its the French 4th of July"

Anyways, next christmas will be splended for all of us, we can always start planning next Christmas now. Happy holidays, and rememeber, your never alone or far from your loved ones, they live in our heart everyday, every minute. Next year we will ALL be home for Christmas.

God Bless and Happy Holidays.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I thought of something, for all of us alone at Christmas, my husband and myself, the past 2 New Years have celebrated our New Years Eve via the web camera, he is 7 hours ahead of me so, I made sure I was at hoome at his midnight, and he made sure he was awake when 12 came here in the USA, so maybe for Christmas all of us, especially the ones with kids can use web cameras. Having a dad see his kids open their gifts Christmas morning would be great, he or she may not be there physically, but can have some Christmas joy seeing their kids open their gifts and seeing them on Christmas day.

Its a thought to ponder on.

Merry Christmas to all of us.

I've never spent xmas with my wife, this will be our first,

1st out of 3 years

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!
