Guys and Gals, I think this is a sham poster, this Valsu and someone just pulling all our legs. Later! :innocent:

God is a very big part of some people's lives and your comment is an attempt to undermined what others value.

god is a cognitive construct that people substitute for self actualisation in order to keep their lives under control.

unfortunately, this construct often fails, for example, everything we have read the OP say about his life, which is in a total shambles.

god won't take care of you, buddy. it's time to "man up" or go under.

Exactly. No one can be THIS demented. Its just an elaborate advertisement for Pastor Jeff Owens, another quack!!!

When I was at the prison visiting my wife, the guards told me that many of the people in the facility were actually legal--many just caught without papers, o

This is an oxymoron. If you are legal, they can't put you in jail because you don't have papers on you. This is not a remote village in the middle of nowhere, it's the US.

If you are ILLEGAL, and don't have any documentation, then I could see why ICE could pick you up.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Unfortunately, ICE picked her up on 12/04/2008. Where they found her, or why they picked her up, I have no idea. What I do know is that they put her in a prison for 5 days, and then moved her to a Detention and Removal Prison, where she awaits trial for deportation.

.

The complication is that she has been outside of my home for more than 30 days, and is still saying that everything that is happening to her is my fault.

She was picked up two states away at a bus station.

So first your wife is at a womens shelter, and now she's picked up two states away by ICE at a bus shelter?

Either this guy is pulling all of our legs and laughing, or he doesn't understand what marriage is.

NO! DO NOT SPEND ANY MOMENT PROCRASTINATING! Plead with your friends! Go give them some money, print the forms for them, do whatever you can to get their process going right away.

Don't listen to ANYONE that says it is safe to be in this country out of status. It's a misguidance, and your immigrant spouse is NOT safe. If a member of border patrol checks his/her papers, they're going to spend 1-4 months in prison, and there's no way around it--even if they've already applied for AOS and don't have proof on them of having done so.

The $1,010 you couldn't afford before, will become $8,000+ in legal and attorney fees.

Thanks I will pass this message as it is, and yes I may be the one who has to print those forms for them  I don't mind.

We can learn from other experiences or learn the hard way; as long as we accept that we do not know everything there is always something to learn every day.

My best wishes for you during this process.

And still... no news as of when will be the hearing ??

I also thing is a great lesson to all.... don't wait to fill up AOS.... (Honestly I thought it was ok to wait a bit).

Other thing....I think US immigration folks should make you pay the 1010$ in advance and before leaving our countries ! then there would not be theses kind of drama.

You won't like my answer, but I spoke with the actual Border Patrol Officer who arrested my wife.

He made some very challenging statements, and said that the previous approval processes are run by the department of state. He said, "they (the DoS) don't truly know how we (Border Patrol) operate, and he said he doesn't care what stages in the process anyone is. If they find someone in possession of an out of status visa/passport, they are going to arrest them immediately and place them in prison the same way they did my wife. Whether they get themselves out of prison is their problem."

When I was at the prison visiting my wife, the guards told me that many of the people in the facility were actually legal--many just caught without papers, or such--most just "out of status" as they call it. One mexican lady was even voluntarily leaving the country back to Mexico, and 25 miles from the border, her bus was pulled over and raided by border patrol, and they carried her back to prison--where she's been for 3 months now awaiting a deportation hearing--even though she had a ticket back to Mexico and was leaving voluntarily.

After learning about everything outside of what USCIS tells us, I will advise you this:

NO! DO NOT SPEND ANY MOMENT PROCRASTINATING! Plead with your friends! Go give them some money, print the forms for them, do whatever you can to get their process going right away.

The ####### that goes on in our country makes me want to find another country to live in, seriously. :(

Especially after meeting so many innocent men and women in that prison. Poor people caged up like animals just because of paperwork flaws. Some of them even had walking chains--how sad.

Ok, lets cut right to the chase......can we seriously believe a word you say? First of all, having had a loved one in the prison system, I can tell that you are FLAT OUT lying.

NO ONE, I REPEAT NO ONE gets to speak to the "officer who arrested your wife" about the case. It simply doesn't happen. No officer of the law would EVER speak with you about a pending case, especially one in which you are the defendant's husband. That statement is laughable.

Next, NO PRISON GUARDS in this country would dare speak about the guilt or innocence of inmates. They would lose their jobs. Having been a visitor to more than one prison in my life, I can tell you that the demeaner of prison guards (while on duty) is pretty standard. IT IS NOT one of chattiness and feeling sorry for the inmates. Unless of course, you happen to meet them off duty (like you coincidentally met those shelter workers!!!). Another tall tale.

And finally, how the hell did you meet "SO MANY INNOCENT MEN AND WOMEN in THAT PRISON" When I visited my friend, I had limited time, and I certainly wasn't moving around from table to table, meeting all the "innocent" inmates. I was concentrating on the person closest to me, AND ONLY THEM. So in the limited visiting time at the prison, you managed to solve ALL the problems of your marriage, charm the pants off the guards and get them to admit the innocence of most of the inmates, AND Meet all of those great innocent people too!!!! WOW, amazing. Your story stinks to HIGH HELL

I finally got to see my prodical wife face to face today for almost 2 hours, and it was amazing. She was amazing!

The guards at the facility are extremely nice and accommodating, and let us spend much more time than we were initially allowed since there were no other visitors.

One more thing.......If there were "no other visitors" as you state, you would have had no opportunity to meet OTHER INMATES. Visiting section of EVERY PRISON is in an area separated from GP (general pop.), and the only inmates that have access to the visiting area are inmates WITH VISITORS.

You are a fake. In one way or another.

You are selling Valsu short here. You seem to have forgotten that Valsu has been be-shat and splattered upon VJ by the almighty himself with the tools to solve ALL marriage problems that occur at any time in any place to anyone located anywhere on the earth.

By the way, even if you think your marriage is strong, I highly recommend going to Dr. Jeff Owen's website, and ordering all of his Marriage Counseling CD sets--Bible-based principles. He handles everything from Miscarriage to Intimacy, and how things are seen in God's eyes, and in the eyes of your mate. Those counseling sessions are all taught at Couple's Retreats, and I guarantee if you follow some of the principles he outlines, you could turn a good marriage into a great marriage, and a failing marriage into something hopeful and restorable--just following Biblical principles. My entire perspective on marriage has changed

Seagull husband: (noun) One who flies into your life, eats all your food, s$$ts on everything there, and flies out untouched and unscathed by his actions

Disclaimer: Ignore the fact that Valsu's "couples retreats" are currently taking place by phone across a plexiglass window

i don't get it.

Sorry, just ONE MORE thing...............did you mean to say "Prodigal Wife"? Cause there's no such word as Prodical. So if you meant "prodigal"......... are you aware that PRODIGAL means "wastefully or recklessly extravagant"

Is that what you meant to say about wifey??? WOW.

All those MEN and WOMEN? Are you telling me that Men and Women are being housed together? Just please answer that question and lets end this charade.
